It was typical Alaska. Not extremely busy. Some empty tables. Lots of people who have enjoyed their beverage package too much.

The casino was scheduled to open at 8:00. Because of our late departure and probably a little to do with the winds and weather, we did not get into international waters until 10:20 and the casino opened. (Also, we kept getting charged the 10.1% Washington State tax on drinks and purchase until then).

Need some mommy and daddy time on the cruise? Send the kids down to the Entourage Teen Club on Deck 5. (This is a fully vaccinated cruise, so there are no guppies or Splash Academy members onboard). remember to register and attend the first night where friendships

    are made.

I am also eagerly awaiting information about vaccination requirements as I am booked on a holiday cruise as well. However, I seem to be in the minority in hoping that NCL keeps the 100% vaccinated requirement. I chose NCL because of this policy re: vaccinated only, and hope it continues. I'm sorry for the families who want to cruise with youngsters that can't get vaccinated yet, but there are other options with more lenient rules. Should NCL change their policy to permit unvaccinated people onboard I will be the one cancelling my reservation.

Our Oct. 13, 2021 cruise was cancelled; re-booked for Nov. 27, 2021... fingers crossed.

We have been working diligently towards our resumption of operations, focusing on providing you with the very best experience while
keeping your health and safety at the forefront. This means however, that we must unfortunately cancel Norwegian’s Pride of America
voyages with embarkation dates from November 27, 2021 through and including January 15, 2022

No dry dock is scheduled. State of Hawaii and NCL are in disagreement with how to handle a fully vaccinated cruise and the Safe Travels documents to be able to enter the state. Bookings are waaay down for sailings in Aug, Sept and Oct.

    where did you hear this?

I have made as many as 6 payments online. I hate to see a balance get TOO high! Yes I know its stupid not to use the float. but the answer is you absolutely can make more than 3 without any penalty!

I do it all the time.  I see a balance and I pay it. too much shock waiting for the bill lol

Here the CDC say as of midnight tomorrow, masks will be needed to be worn on all cruise ships. This is GOOD news in my opinion as it shows they are finding ways to get the cruise industry moving.

    Soon ❤️

I am hoping to cruise when I DON'T have to wear a mask....I hope that this December's cruise is postponed.  I reeeeaaaly want to cruise when it's back to normal  sigh

  7. and, THAT answered the question lol

Points are awarded on your statement date... not before... so your total will only be available on your statements. Your statement will include a line item giving you a summary of points for the month, bonus points, and your new total.

Until you get your first statement, you officially have NO points 🙂

it's just a regular old credit card just like any other.  use it for whatever you want, food, entertainment, gas, hotels, etc.

🙂 cool.  another question about World Points...I have charged a few things on the card, but show no WorldPoints.  Guess they might when they do the statement?

Me 2! As you can see in my signature block, my booked cruises tend to be during winter months (Dec, Jan, Feb). Not a coincidence. You are very wise. Btw, here in Mich, temps are now reaching the mid-to-upper 40's and the good amount of snow on the ground is melting to where you are seeing more & more patches of lawns/grass. Also, more roofs becoming visible. Spring is just around the corner...

I'm hoping before Florida. That's why I booked PoA as my first cruise, Oct 23-30, 2021. Fingers crossed 🤞.

december here lol  fingers crossed too
