  1. Did you notice the sliding glass doors on the balconies? On all the other ships, there has only been one division and you slid half the door to open it. It appears as though there are 3 pieces of vertical glass on the door - not 2. It doesn't look like the door is divided into 2, but into 3 and the middle part moves to open or close. Is this a new door style - I don't remember seeing any like this before??

  2. We booked a grand suite (2 of us). The rest of our family (2) are in a balcony cabin. Will they be allowed to sit with us in the reserved area of theater (since they not in suite) and will they be able to sit with us on deck in gold card area? Just wondering what the rules were - thanks for your advice.

  3. I am currently Diamond and booked a cruise for Oct. 2015 on Liberty. I DID get the $325 balcony discount - and appreciate that. In March of 2015 I will sail on Quantum - after that I will be Diamond Plus. Since final payment not due for my October cruise - will they adjust my balcony discount to $350 the Diamond Plus amount? It is only $25 - but that is $25 I could use for specialty restaurant or something else on ship. Let me know if this was able to be done if any of you had a tier change before your next cruise. Thank you so much!

  4. My cousin wants to sail with us and will be delighted that there is NO single supplement. HOWEVER, why are they saying - capacity for 2 - I really don't think it is fair to sell these to couples. They were made for 1 person to avoid the supplement. Couples can get a regular cabin??

  5. 1. Does the Liberty have both a Diamond and Concierge lounge?

    2. Do you make entertainment reservations online prior to sailing like you do on Oasis and Allure?

    3. Is there a spa area with heated loungers, or just a sauna?

Anything special you liked about Liberty and want to share?

  6. Thank you so much for your reply. I think you are correct - i was looking from the wrong side. I thought the door entering the living room area was half of a sliding glass door and I

thought the green wall was a curtain. I was looking at this on my tiny phone screen and the brown door looked black - thought was sliding door at night. Your perspective makes much more sense and makes this suite very attractive. In the past all Royal Caribbean pics of grand suite were taken from entering the cabin facing the two sliding doors - so I thought that is how this pic was taken. Again thanks for responding - like your vision better!!!

  7. On NCL - one could walk to any restaurant any time if you did not make a reservation - many times one could walk right in. If not you would be given a beeper just as on a land restaurant and waits could be anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes to 45 minutes. During this wait - drinks were given a discount. NOW - on Royal Caribbean am I correct in that one MUST have a reservation to get in - you cannot just walk into a restaurant without making one?? It seems that you MUST make a reservation - that would alleviate the wasted time waiting on NCL if you just walked to a restaurant when you are hungry. Let me know if this is correct. Thank you!
