    My guess:

    2) A change was made that triggered the $100/person change penalty (now $1100 total) on/before July 9, 2020.

    .

You and your SAM need to figure out #2.

If you don't cancel prior to final payment, it doesn't matter.  If you do, IIRC, you would get a FCC for the penalty amount - $100/person.  And if CWC is still in force, [that's for you to figure out].

Who owns your booking?  That is the person that needs to figure this out.  Make them earn their commission.  And make sure you provide them ALL the details.

Honestly I know what you are saying  the "owner" doesn't know and never seen this before

The Strategic Account Manger has been checking since Feb 5th and today she said its been moved to a different SAM.

Believe me I do appreciate all the help.

That would be $100/person = $200.  However, in my experience*, the invoice would say it's $900.

    * I did an on board open booking in Feb 2020 with a $100/person ($200 total) deposit.  I then used my open booking to book an August 2021 sailing in Dec 2020.  I did not put any more money toward the sailing.  The invoice had a $900 NRD penalty listed.

In Feb 2021, I L&S to a Sept 2022 sailing.  I did not put any more money toward the sailing.  My new invoice says the NRD penalty is $1100.  The $200 increase is the result of the $100/person ship/sailing date change (L&S).  While the $100/person change fee is waived for with CWC, it is not waived if you cancel outside of CWC (whenever that will take affect?).

As previously stated on this forum, change fields may be waived (for now), but they are actually based on (and accumulate) per the terms of the original and subsequent bookings.

You don't need to add an second passenger at the time of booking

What is entire history of the May 2022 booking?

    May 24, 2019: Booked May 7, 2021 sailing

L&S to May 2022 sailing - What date did you do this?

Any other changes to the booking (ship, sail date, etc)?

I was wrong in my original post the cruise was L&S from a May 7th OV cruise to the Allure  April 24th 2022 , the L&S had to have been Feb 5th 2021. from what I can see in an email from my SAM. She too has never seen this and can't get an answer

I don't know the dates for the FCC's

It may have changed when the agency switched to KHM  at least that is the thinking of the SAM

Is May 24th 2019 the booking date for the May 2022 cruise or is it the original sailing date of a previous cruise that you L&S once or twice?

Basically, what is the history of the May 2022 cruise booking?

    L&S ONCE

The May 24th is the original booking date for the May 7th 2021 Ovation of the Seas

It was shifted to the Allure April 24 2022

If you shifted your cruise after the normal cancellation date the cancellation penalties that were in effect when you shifted carryover to the new date.

We shifted a May 2021 cruise to May 2022 and if we cancel that we are subject to I think the 50% penalty that was in effect when we shifted it

    Cruise isn't until May 2022

One of my bookings have a $900 deposit and as above Final payment isn't due until Jan 24th 2022 but if they cancel now its $1300 ?

  9. I have my final cruise coming up Next May 2022 the original booking date was

    May 24th 2019

I have been fighting for my commissions from the agency I worked with

I have noticed the cancellation penalty has gone from $100 to $1100 to $1300 and no one can explain it

Here is how it reads on one of my guest invoices

If your stateroom is GTY (Guarantee) orWLT (Waitlist), once your room is assigned or confirmed, you’ll receive an updated invoice advising of your location. If your

stateroom has an obstructed view, you’ll receive details once your room is assigned.

Deposit has been posted to your reservation. Final Payment is due by 24 JAN 2022, 5:00 PM EST

The booking is currently subject to USD 1100.00 cancellation penalties at time of this booking invoice 05 FEB 2021. This amount may increase based on the cruise penalty

    schedule.

  10. Gee I have a question for you and fellow past and present agents.

I decided to retire before the pandemic ,  and just run out my commissions

I am due commissions on cruises that were book on the following dates

    Feb 24 2017 - Nov 11 2018 and May 24 2019  total commissions around $1000

working as a home agent at 80% of the commissions

Since Jan 2020 the agency I worked with has dodged emails or has come up with strange excuses on where the commissions were as they couldn't find any  so for over a year I sat waiting emailing ever few weeks. In a Feb 9th email I was told I would have an answer in one week. WRONG

I ended up emailing a contact in Miami and with in 3 hours I was told the commissions were indeeded paid and the dates they were paid.

Armed with this I emailed the and the SAM

I finally get an email on April 27th 2021

In the email it is stated the commissions were found but they were only paying me 50% of them.

Then after an exchange of emails I am told

They "no longer receives the entire commission, instead we receive a commission split. I have forwarded you 50% of the entire commission even before we have received our portion of the commission to resolve this issue. "

Now I know I am out of the loop since all this covid stuff but has anyone else heard of something like this ?

    Clorox Bleach Free Hand Sanitizer

I saw it recommended on here a few years ago, and researched it.  Googled just now, and it seems like there are mixed messages about it.

I do use the Clorox Bleach Free but don't think Clorox is allowed to make the claim anymore that it "MIGHT" kill the Noro Virus but it works in felines.

6 blood clots out of 1.6 million vaccines, no deaths.  Seems like a bit of an over reaction to halt distribution.  I don't expect it will last long, an advisory committee will review the data later this week, and distribution will restart I believe.

Not 1.6 million it is 6.8 million
