  1. There will be at least ships there that day. Thanks to the PVSA, we’re doing a S2S with the Royal Princess vs the B2B we wanted on the Solstice.
  2. Maybe I should have said, changing the lines allows us to do a S2S that works for us. You are correct on the other points.
  3. We're about to do our first Princess cruise because of the PVSA. Originally wanted to do Celebrity Solstice as a B2B - start in Los Angeles, go to Vancouver for turn around day and then stay on for the first Alaska cruise and disembark in Seattle. TA caught it and said no go (even though Celebrity originally said it was fine) so we let it go. This would be seen as one voyage because it's on the same ship. Checked hotel prices in Vancouver and decided that a lovely 3 day on the Royal Princess would be more cost effective. We'll pick up the Solstice in Vancouver. Changing the lines allows us to do a S2S that works.
  4. Totally understand. Hoping that Celebrity repeats that set of sailings later ourselves. The Edge also had some nice sailings with her repo from the Med to Australia in ‘23 - maybe another option. Good luck in your hunt.
  5. Have you looked at the Solstice in March/April ‘24? She’s coming out of Hong Kong, going to Australia and then heading off on the Transpacific - and the stops on the Transpacific are a bit different than the Tahitian Treasures itinerary - less French Polys/NZ, more Fiji/Somas. Plus you could always tag the Hawaii cruise on to that as well if you wanted more time. I sincerely wish we could spend more time on the Solstice in ‘24, but work will only give us so much time off.
  6. Prepaid will work in Murano, simply book the time to dine there when you are onboard. You can easily order from their wine menu and if you choose pair glasses of wine that you like as you dine. If you are interested in the paired option, you would need to ask on board as I’ve not gone that route.
  7. So with Celebrity, you can pretty much order what you want. Also it sounds like you are looking at a Solstice Class ship so my answers are geared that way. If we go in and ask for a salad, a soup, an appetizer and a entree plus a half size of pasta (thinking of Tuscan here) plus a side or two, no one would blink an eye at the order. If it were me placing the order, I may need to be rolled out of the restaurant, but Celebrity would be fine with it. The $89 option in Murano includes the wine paring for the menu. The “regular” menu you can choose as you go and pair wine or drink whatever you may choose. The most “restricted” menu we’ve encountered is Le Petit Chef - they have two menu options and one follows the storyline of the video, other does not. It comes with four courses - you choose an option from one of the two presented menus.
