No. The menu is the same across all the floors of the main dining room and sometimes the app isn’t correct before your actual sailing. Up until our sailing two weeks ago, the only one that had a menu was the one on Deck 5. But when we boarded, our table was on Deck 3.

Are there any other drinks available for the four free drinks besides the alcohol listed? I know certain coffees are not available, but what about sodas, fruit juice and milkshakes?
The way you write this makes me think you are looking at the old way of using the vouchers where you were limited to what was on the card. They have changed it and you are able to use it for any drink you want up to $14.00 at any time of the day. It’s great!

Capt Jaret Barry was still the Master on the Adventure 5/13 sailing. We thoroughly enjoyed his announcements and his Captain’s Corner…even got a picture with him.
So, maybe Capt Standahl was on the ship, but didn’t start until the sailing after?

Nada for the 25th on Adventure last week. Although……….We did have a bottle of champagne waiting on Day 1 with a letter from the Guest Services Manager thanking us for choosing Royal. Not really sure why they sent it. It wasn’t our D+ gift as we received it later in the week. Maybe it was a substitute for the 25th hat. 😂

Just off Adventure. They wouldn’t bring two apps or entrees at once. We like to order an app each and share the escargots in the middle at the same time. Been doing that for many years. They would not bring the escargots until the other apps were done. Said Royal wanted the food to be served at the “correct temperature” (which was ironic considering the poached eggs on the Benedict in the morning were stone cold). A table next to us ordered spaghetti as a second entree later in the week. She really just wanted a side of spaghetti with her dish - not a whole entree. Waiter brought it out on the tray with the rest of the entrees but would not serve it until the first was done. So much for “correct temperature”. The new rule is just causing anger amongst the cruisers and more work for the waitstaff.

Excellent question. if they had it for check in, it’s around the house somewhere.
That’s what I was thinking. Somewhere near where they did their checkin. Under a laptop or folder on a desk or something like that.

Prices can vary greatly by sailing based on time of year, what ship(s) are there, number of passes sold, etc. The water park is $160.99 for my Wonder cruise next month.
Dang! I’m sorry, but IMO, no water park is worth that! 😮
-
I just checked for our sailing and the water park is $96.99. Are you looking at the water park or the Beach Club?

Where did you do your online checkin? Did you use your passport to do your checkin?

Coco holds 2 ships every day...
And as there appear to be no ships scheduled tomorrow (or again until the 10th…), my original statement still stands.

Sad they couldn't at least substitute with Coco instead.

It seems to be a guessing game anymore. When I booked mine, it specified liter bottles with a picture of Evian. So, I didn’t mind paying the higher price. They have since changed the picture to a splash of water and don’t note the size in the description. I’m going to ask the folks on the sailing before mine what they had delivered and judge from there whether or not to keep my package. It’s irritating to pay $30 for 12 bottles of generic purified water when it was advertised as something else.

Well, that’s irritating….we're scheduled for one of those sailings. I hope they break the news sooner rather than later to give us the opportunity to plan for something different…

I was in a Grand Suite on Navigator right after the shut down was over, when my Concierge emailed me I told him I had spinal issues and could not handle the rock hard beds. Our bed was perfectly padded. I believe it had a memory foam pad on it.
I wonder if the Special Needs folks could help me with that because I have back issues. That will probably be the only time I ever get to sail in a full suite. We typically do Jr Suites now and don’t have access to the concierge. Worth a shot, right?

Royal knows there is a problem but continues to put these horrible beds in their rooms, unless you travel in a suite. Their attitude is pay up or shut up
We sailed in an Owner’s Suite on Allure in October and it was just as horrible as the balcony and interior beds we’ve had.

Mariner OTS - Capt Panagopoulos Panos (started rotation 4-15-23)
I think Panos is his first name.

The fact that they did not get the owner's suite is disappointing, but NO DAMAGE has been done to them, therefore, no compensation is needed. Hopefully they will enjoy their cruise.
Except for they weren’t rebooked into their original room and instead got an obstructed view. Had they been restored to their original room, I’d agree with you.

Yea we booked this excursion for the April 16 sailing…
Can’t wait to read your review. We’re debating between Capt. Morgan and the vodka tour. Have fun!

I guess Easter is as good a time as any to resurrect a three year old post...
Seems like the most appropriate day of the year.

The ship water tastes just fine, however I found my ankles started swelling by the end of each of my cruises. I started drinking bottled water to see if it made a difference and it did, so I do buy now. If you do not have the same issue I have I would not think you would have an issue with it.
Same with me! Not on all the ships, but some. Allure is the worst for me. Ever since I figured it out, I’ve been getting the water package. Not worth trying the tap for a few days for me.

So, I had saved mine to my Apple Wallet when I checked in last week. It didn’t say Suite. I just checked the Wallet again. No Suite. Went into the App. No Suite. Went back into the Wallet and it suddenly says Suite. All in the matter of three minutes. Very strange.

They really should allow you to select this stuff online instead of having to call them.
I have a theory they took away the online to discourage people from switching. I know I put off calling. Maybe they found a lot of people switched (not that it should matter) when it was online and not so much now. Seems silly IMO.

Thanks for reminding me! I kept forgetting to call and choose ours because I kept dreading it thinking I’d be on hold for a while. Got right through and was off the call in 4 minutes from the time I dialed. Easy peasy though I’d much prefer logging into my account online to do it myself…

Is evening entertainment offered twice to accomodate the second dinner seating?

Just off Adventure two weeks ago. Yes. There wee two shows scheduled each night to accommodate the Traditional Main Dinner times.
