Yes the survey is a really significant event for staff.

12/21 - We paid some additional tips to those that had served us well. We were really disappointed to find that they are unable to keep it individually and must turn it into a pool. To me this isn't fair. I plan on buying somethings as a non-monetary gift to help show our appreciation.
This is new to me and very disappointing! Does the ship confiscate it some how? We have always handed over a pvt note of thanks and an envelope to our special people, over and above the prepaid gratuities.

For my Celebrity Eclipse with prepaid tips and the final payment made. If they ask if I accept this increase, I will say yes. This increase of $ 1 PPPD would represent 0.79% of the total paid. They earn their work and as I understand they have no salary, it is their only income tips.
It's ridiculous to spend between $ 4,000 and $ 5,000 or more on a cruise and do not want to accept a $ 28 increase for a 14-night cruise.
Merry Christmas

If you are in a CS or above you can also contact the shore side concierge at anytime at 316-554-5075. About 2 months before our cruise they had a sale on the Premium Drink Package (for the repositioning cruise). I called the regular CC number and they transferred me to her, saying she preferred to handle our needs directly. Also you can email her at ConciergePamela@celebrity.com
Brilliant! Thank you

If you are in a Celebrity Suite or higher the shore side concierge will get in touch about 2 weeks before you cruise. They don't contact guests sailing in sky suites.
Thanks Priscilla- so much excited to be Royal :-)

I understand there is a number to call beforehand if you have things you want in the suite? Is that correct, I haven’t been able to track it down yet ..

I believe we paid about $20 US per person in March '17.
We skipped lunch altogether. There are some nice looking places in Trelew if you have enough time on the way back. We drove around Trelew and decided that it would be cutting it too close to stop and eat. It's also real easy to get lost in Trelew, so either have a good map or GPS if you decide to venture into the city.
Cheers and thanks FredZ

Does anyone have a current figure for park entry fee to Punta Tombo penguins?
We are hiring a couple of vans from Celebrity and going there ourselves. Just wanted to let the party know of additional costs and had trouble finding it online.
Also for anyone who has taken this option recently, what did you decide to do for lunches?
Thanks! Astrocat and Cellagirl

Yes RS and PH suites still qualify! Enjoy the unlimited specialty restaurants, two bottles of booze, and mini fridge.😁👍🏻
76 days .. and counting

But the Royal Suites still qualify --- correct? Eagerly looking forward to a January cruise in RS. ;)

REmember that power boards and multi-socket devices that have surge protectors built into them are fire hazards on ships so leave them at home.
Yes the Warehouse model I referred to above is fine it doesn’t have the surge stuff

All the standard gear will have a built in adaptor. You really only need the US plug . I’ve never taken a special USB charger — I just plug anything else in via my apple plug.

Hi Muffinz - a fellow Kiwi cruiser here. I take my usual chargers etc , and a regular NZ power board (Warehouse model is fine ha ha). I then use my US pronged plug to plug in the board, and charge everything off that. Have a great cruise

They both have the same size balcony -- huge. Only difference is 1044 has bed by the balcony whereas 1075 has the bed by the bath configuration. It's a personal choice, but we prefer bed by bath, so would choose 1075.
Yes this is our preferred also

1075 is an excellent cabin. Have had it 3 times in this class -though not on Reflection herself

It might not have been such a boneheaded move if the cabin Class weren't named AQUA!!!
