I can't remember exactly what time we got off the ship in Belfast, but we took a taxi to Titanic Belfast. We actually got there about 20-30 minutes before it opened. We were one of the first ones in. It was great because we were finished before any of the tours showed up. Tammy

I was on a Hawaii cruise during a Super Bowl. I believe they showed it on the big screen, but they also had a party in one of the lounges. Special food and even ice sculptures that highlighted both teams. It was a lot of fun. However, no commercials. Depending on the game, that is sometimes the best part. Tammy

This past May, we arrived early spent a few days in London. If you'd like to do a little sight seeing, then I suggest taking the tour that stops at Stonehenge and then takes you to the port. That's what we did. The bus picked us up at our hotel. We arrived at the port around 2:00. Tammy

For Belfast, my cousin and I did most of it on our own. When we docked, we took a taxi to the Titanic Belfast. We were there when it opened and had it mostly to ourselves. By the time we were done, it was starting to get crowded. We then walked the Maritime Mile. At one point, we did get on the HOHO to see a few things that were farther away. We had a great time doing this on our own. We did not take a tour of Dublin as we went back there after the cruise. Tammy

We are scheduled to dock in Queensferry at 7:00 am. We have a tour scheduled at 1:30. We'd like to go to the Royal Yacht Britannia in the morning. Can someone tell me if this is doable? Their website says they open at 9:30. I did look it up on Google Maps. It's says it is about a 30 minute car ride or a 50 minute bus ride. Does anyone know if there are taxis at the port? Are there also some near the Royal Yacht Britannia? Thanks for any help you can provide! Tammy

I'm trying to find out the best way to get from the Belfast Cruise Terminal to the Titanic Belfast. Is there a bus that we can take from there? If so, are they frequent, and how long is the drive? What about taking a taxi instead? I done some research, but I'm getting mixed messages about the time it takes to get there. Also, does the the Glider bus stop near the Titanic Belfast? Thought this might be a better option to make our way around time after touring Titantic Belfast. Is there also a bus that we can take back to the port from Belfast Central? Sorry for all the questions, but I appreciate any help you can give! Tammy

I was in isolation on a cruise in October for 3 days. For the FCC, I waited about a month after I got home. Nothing from Princess. I called, they said I had to file with the travel insurance (which I did purchase through Princess). I have filed the claim, but have not received FCC yet. AON states on their website that they are experiencing a high volume of claims. Plus, it's the holidays so I'm sure they have a lot of people out. I did also file for a prescription I was given (before they got a positive covid test). I did receive back an email asking for some additional information as they are excess over my health insurance. That at least tells me they have looked at the claim. As for laundry, they gave me some soap if I wanted to wash anything in my cabin, but I could still send clothes out. They did state it would be washed in very hot water. I wouldn't send anything that can't take the hotter water. However, if you test negative before the end of your cruise, you could then send your clothes, and they would be washed as normal. I tested positive early on in a 14-day cruise. I was only isolated for 3 days so I still had plenty of time to get my clothes washed. Hope this helps! Tammy

Thanks everyone for your help. We decided on a 1:30 flight out of Heathrow just to be sure we make it. I did hear that the coronation will take place on May 6. Ugh! We are going to be in London for a few days prior to the cruise, and this is right in the middle of that time. Wish we'd known that before we booked all our flights! Good news is that we booked our hotel a few months ago! Tammy

We are booked on the May 8, 2023, Princess British Isles Cruise. We are scheduled to arrive back in Southampton at 6:00 am. Can someone who's been on one this year tell me what time they started disembarkation? We had a flight from Southampton to Dublin booked to leave at 11:30, but it was changed to 7:30 so we will not make that. There is another flight that leaves at 9:15. In looking at Google maps, it's only about a 20 minute drive to the airport. I know LOTS of things can impact how soon we can get off the ship, but generally disembarkation is about the same time on each cruise if things go as planned. Also, if we decide to book something from London, does anyone know why the first transfer from the ship leaves? There is an 11:00 flight from Heathrow, but on Princess they are recommending a flight no earlier than Noon. Any information would be greatly appreciated as we try to determine if we could make either flight. Tammy

I'm on the Oct. 20 cruise. I asked my travel agent about it. She did some research and found my cruise was waitlist only. That's why it's showing as unavailable. She also mentioned that she thinks Canada has some additional restrictions on capacity. If so, that could be part of the problem. However, it does seem strange that all the Canada/New England cruises this fall are waitlisted.

You can ask for changes to the bar set up. I was on a cruise last month. They traded out all the alcohol for water. They will also give you soda if you prefer. The upgraded bathroom amenities is a higher end samples really with a few other things. I have no idea what upgraded turndown service is. Tammy

I'm booked on the May 8 cruise. When I booked it was supposed to be on the Emerald. I got an email earlier this week that it was being switched to the Regal. They've hidden the cruise for now until everything is transferred over. I did see last night that I could now access my booking with the new ship. Hopefully that means the cruises will be available again soon to book. Even though the ones you were looking at are in June, I'm guessing it's the same problem. Tammy

Thank you everyone! We both ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the app. It works now! I think the one we were using was from at least 3 years ago, and they were still fairly new then. As someone mentioned, I didn't lose anything that I had already entered. One more thing done! Tammy

Thanks, Moondogy. I do not have anything on my app that says "MedalionNet". I also have not been able to access Dine My Way on my app so I think there's something wrong with it. I'm on a June 4th cruise, so I'll check with them on board. I'm wondering if I need to delete the app and add it back, but I don't want to lose everything I've already entered for my upcoming cruise.

I've tried to find where I can pre-pay the wi-fi package before my cruise. There's a note on Princess' website that you purchase it through the medallion app, but my friend and I cannot find anywhere on it to purchase this. Do you have to wait until you are on the ship to buy this? If not, where do you find the link to purchase it? Thanks for any help you can provide! Tammy
