  1. My husband and I will be taking our first cruise in Feb. We will be on the Celebrity Constellation - In Nassau on 2/28 from 7am -5pm. We'd like a nice beach day. Since we've never cruised before, I have no idea how much time we need to get off/on the ship. Blue lagoon looks nice and so does Melia. Hilton (near port) looks ok, but the beach looks small and I saw a big wall in one of the photos which kind of turned me off. Suggestions and advise for where we should go and how we should get there are much appreciated! Thanks

It depends on what you want to do and how much you want to spend.

  2. Hi LimeyUK -

We are checking with the Port Agent in Tampa to see if your luggage was recovered. Please contact our Guest Relations Team at 1-866-625-1164 and they will be able to provide you with updates and information if it is located.

    Thank you,

Great job NCL, it is nice to know that NCL keeps up with Cruise Critic.

To the OP, hope you get your suitcase back.

  3. When we went to Sandals and to Breezes, we just went to the front desk and asked if the day pass was available. We take the #10 Jitney bus to the hotels. Just tell the driver where you are going, it is $1.25 per person each way. The #10 Jitney will also bring you back to the port area. I just put the cost on my credit card.

Sandals is a couple only for $110.00 per person.

Breezes I believe was $65.00 per person.

  4. If you used NCL transfers, you would take your luggage to the vehicle. They will load your stuff for you. Once you get to the port, the porters will take your luggage from your transportation so you don't have to handle your stuff.

To get off of the ship, you put your luggage out the night before your return. Once off of the ship you pick up your luggage in the terminal, there will be porters there if you need assistance. They will take you through customs and to the NCL transfer vehicle. There you luggage will be loaded, once at the airport you will take your stuff to the airline check in. Unless you do as the previous poster mentioned by using the ships service so you don't handle your luggage until you are at your home airport.

I also agree that SAS is better at $15.00 per person each way.

  5. I called NCL today because I forgot to get a pin from the Jewel this year. The person I talked to tried to get in touch with the person with the pins, they are on vacation until 1-6-14. She sent the person an e-mail and if they have the pin, they will mail it to me. This is the number that I called: 1-866-625-1164

  6. Redhead, I was on the 12 night southern cruise 12-12-12, we had almost the same itinerary. I was able to take my IPad ashore with me and find WiFi in Aruba, Bonaire, Grenada and Barbados. This way you could post your review a little at a time.quote]

Is it possible that you have your full review saved as one document? I'd love to read it without searching each day. If so, I'll provide email address to send it to. I'm thinking Lisa might like to read too!

I didn't write a review of my cruise, sorry.

  7. I was also on this cruise, my only complaint was they ran out of Miller Lite beer. Having bought the $40.00 per day drink package, I had no slips to sign. I got great service at all of the bars that I went to with out slipping them any money up front. I complained from the Captain on down, the Hotel Director, Bar manager, Asst. Bar Manager & Head Bartender. At the next port where there was an RCL ship, they got ML beer from them which lasted the rest of the cruise. Someone even called me in my state room to let me know they had ML beer on the ship. Of course I already knew that. I went back and thanked all of the officers that I complained to.

To the OP, I was not very happy about what your Eagles did to my Bears, that hurt.
