I took my first Diamond cruise last year on the Freedom, had a great time. Loved that DL.

I was on that Cuban rescue cruise also, by far that was the strangest thing I had seen on a cruise. Good thing we had missed Coco Cay or we wouldn't have come across them. I doubt it if they would have lasted much longer.

The walk is not to far, you will come in at the bottom of the stairs. There normally are people that will tell you all about the staircase for a tip. This is very interesting. I am not sure about cab availability.

Just have to say - I am American, and I consider the situation described by dickydonkin very rude. To me, it doesn't matter what country you are in - treat other people the way you would like to be treated, and most will appreciate it! Just my two cents....:)

I just rechecked both of my apps in airplane mode because I just updated them. The Royal app had a message that it needs to have internet access. I just hit cancel and it still let me see the deck plans.

As I said before, I have both the Royal and shipmate apps on my IPhone. They both show the deck plans while in the airplane mode. The shipmate app even lets you track your expenses, to much work for me.

To add to RadioRay, if they have steaks in the MDR. I will ask for 2 steaks on one plate instead of 2 total plates full of extras.

I just put my IPhone in airplane mode and I was able to get the deck plans from both apps.

I have Shipmate and a Royal app on my phone. With my phone being in airplane mode I can click on the apps and get the deck plans. If it works on my phone it should work on others.

I have an IPhone 4 with an app on it for RCCL. Once out to sea I put my phone on airplane mode and use the deck plans on my phone to get around. On the Majesty someone asked if I knew where a bathroom is, I pulled out my phone and showed them.

One week for my next cruise and 13 days for the one after that. They are 10-22-2010 and 10-28-2010,:D:D:D:D

I had my TA contact Celebrity and get me a Captain's Club membership from my Crown & Anchor number.

When we were there it was the RCL line that snaked all over the place and out the fence.

Yes, jelly fish like Cococay also. While snorkeling I had to dodge them on my way back to shore.

I wear Speedo brand shorts. They look like most other swim suits. I think they are volleyball type shorts, believe me the skimpy little speedo's and myself would never make it.
