If you cancel a cruise(after open booking has been applied) to rebook a different category you will lose the open booking completely!

I purchased two open ended bookings last year while on Oasis. When my open ended booking was applied to my balcony cabin, which had $150 obc the $100 obc with the open ended booking cancelled out the $150. When I contacted my TA about this matter(Big Agency) she replied duh, no kidding. I had no idea this would happen. Going again on Oasis, but no more open ended bookings for me.

My credit card on file was froze because I was out of the country and forgot to contact cc company prior to sailing.

We use stay123.com to book a one night pre cruise hotel room with parking while on the cruise. Some hotels don't charge for port shuttle service and some do. The Hampton inn in Ft Lauderdale doesn't charge but you must book it months in advance. this normally costs us less than parking at the port.

Living in Fla.makes it easier as far as transportation. Just upgraded from an inside guarantee to a balcony guarantee on Oasis. Balcony Guarantee was cheaper than an inside!

We did Express Debark last May on Oasis and had to be off by 7:30.

How many points did you have at the end of your cruise? One of my family members had 6000 on a 4 day cruise on the inspiration. Hit every dollar machine in the casino.

Last year while on the dream, the casino manager came to me on the 3rd day of the cruise and put a free drink card on with my players card. After that cruise I had 3000 points on my card. Carnival has called me several times since offering me casino cash and vip players rate for another cruise.

Once your next cruise booking has been applied to a specific cruise it can't be moved. If you cancel a booking to purchase a different category or sail date your Future cruise credit will be lost completely. The $100 deposit and the obc will be lost. I just went through this scenario with rci last week.
