    Water proof phone holder for diving

    I bought a Seashell case that holds an I/phone 4 or 5.

    The pictures aren't great, but I have used it over 20 times. No leaks.

    You have to choose picture or video before you put the phone in the case.

    It is good to 40 meters

    I was down 105 feet yesterday in Cozumel and it was fine.

    I tried to add a 2nd person because I would still be under by $300 and was told no. I cruise solo.

    They wanted to charge me double of what I paid originally.

    Talked with resolutions as my TA did.

    Losing out $800 on a 5 night cruise because they wouldn't let me add another person sucks.

    I'm not getting what I paid for.

    I don't mind it going down some, but this has changed my future booking.

    I will do what MOST, not all, D+ers and Pinnacles do, book insides

    I'll upgrade if I can, if not, my cabin steward won't be too happy with all my wet dive gear in the room.

     

    Not many D+ers (350 pts or more) and Pinnacles cruise when I can cruise.

    Maybe one or two are in balconies or JS's. The rest book insides. I don't see many if any in the casino and they spend very little.

    I'm happy for them.

    As a business, you would want customers that spend little to nothing on the ship, to book balconies and up.

    I will NOT ever lose $800 on a five night cruise again.

     

    Well maybe on one cruise, where I have cabin 1100 on a back to back on the Brilliance. :-)

    Does RCI still offer scuba in Roatan and Belize?

    Yes to both places.

    The Belize dive is very expensive. Around $185 pp

    It is worth doing once but I would never spend that kind of money again.

    Not enough bottom time because too many of the divers are new.

    I loved the dive.

     

    And Cozumel, I always dive privately.

    I use Aldora. They use steel tanks and max out air 3500 psi.

    Almost everyone dives Nitrox

     

    Last dive with them in June....bottom time 86 mins. Max depth for me 75 feet

    Most of the time at 45 to 55 feet for most of the divers. I was around 55 ft

    For most of the dive.

    How far out do you think I need to change my preferences to no upgrade???

     

    I have cruises booked for late December 2017.

     

    I would like an upgrade it possible for those cruises.

     

    But I don't want to lose my cabin in March 2018.

     

    I'm thinking of changing to no upgrade in October of 2017 to be safe.

     

    Thoughts on how many months before the cruise I should change my preferences to no upgrade.

    I am so excited that I scored cabin 1100 on a back to back on the Brilliance in March 2018.

     

    Right now I have my preferences set to an automatic upgrade but not a lower deck.

     

    I wish Royal would allow us to do it cruise by cruise.

     

    I love cruising in a GS, except when I can book cabin 1100.

     

    The only times I had a GS was from the upgrade fairy.

     

    I'm thinking nine months out should be good enough to set preferences to no upgrade.

     

    Thoughts on when to change to no upgrade?

    B2B Brilliance to Rhapsody

    How close are the two ports in Tampa?

    Has anyone done this?

    Did you need to get a cab to go from one ship to the other?

    I'll be getting dropped off on the 26th of December and picked up on the 7th of January.

    So I won't have a car and one parking lot and need to move it to the other parking lot.

    I received my last block on the Vision at the top tier party in March of this year with a picture of the captain and staff.

    My next one should be on the Rhapsody.

    If the Rhapsody hadn't replaced the Vision this year, I would have received another Vision block.

    Interesting.

    All the posts say we.

     

    Since I travel alone, and only Royal makes me pay 150% and I can only cruise at the most expensive times, I'm stuck until June 2019 with Royal.

     

    I also have to live Super frugally so I can cruise, so the 150% is crucial.

     

    I've cruised on Costa and NCL also.

     

    When I can go at the least expensive times I will be trying other cruise lines, in 2019.

     

    I do enjoy the concierge lounge and the diamond lounge as a solo cruiser.

     

    I cruise 4-5, 6-7 night cruises and a few 3/4 night cruises during the year in the Caribbean and I am never tired of it, as I love to scuba dive.

     

    If I was a "we", I would be cruising other lines also.

    True.

    I loved The Crypt, but it was never super busy, so I understand why they removed it.

    I liked the Crypt because they played 80's, 90's and today's top 40.

    The VCL seems to mostly play teenagers music.

    If you have 5-6 adults and get there early, they will play the top 40 a lot longer.

    Diamond Plus Loss of Benefits

    I would love to try other lines. But, other lines don't give me the single supplement, no matter how many cruises you have with them.

    If they don't change the levels, I should be pinnacle in less than two years and will be very happy for that one perk, getting off the ship early and fast.

    Booking cruises on board ship

    Be careful. I was just off the Freedom. I booked 4 cruises.

    I told the very nice guy four different times do not give it to the TA, I want ownership.

    I'd like to make sure everything is perfect before I transfer it to my TA.

     

    Not only did he give it to my TA, he also did not spell my email correctly.

    Because of my single supplement he said he would send the invoices to my cabin. I never received the invoices in my cabin as I booked the day before we were getting home, and it never came to my email.

    I called to get a copy of the reservation but they wouldn't give me ownership and then let me transfer back to the TA.

    Lesson learned. I will ask them to show me their computer screen to make sure these errors do not happen again.

    I would have booked summer cruises next year, but only Bahamas and Oasis class are sailing out of Florida. :-(

    Still happy. Cruises booked!!!
