  1. I just love it when this post comes back up, I love to see the next ship I'm sailing on. Only 141 more days to go, I need a vacation, I have planned and replanned the whole trip which will of course change the moment we get on board, but this time I swear I will be on the deck when we go under the bridge!, unless it's dinner time, and then I will have to wait until we get back and get up real early. Cruise date is 12/6, is it going to be too cold to be out taking pictures, and I guess you indicated it will probably be dark by the time we set sail. Maybe they have to wait for for tides to be just right? I hope you will be there with your camera, youa re a sweet heart!:)

  2. Thank you for the great pics!!! I will be sailing on her on 12/6, gads! I know that's months away, but I am very excited. And here's another reason to be excited! A wonderful couple that we met on our Legends roll call and cruise will be sailing with us! Cruising is a wonderful way to make friends. This woman pulled me out of a terrible funk this year, and I am very grateful to have her as a friend. I'm pretty sure that she will see these pics too, so if you don't mind going down to the beach on 12/6 and taking a picture and posting it, then I will always have a pic of our "sail away". Thanks Again! ( And Cheryl, HI! ):)

  3. I thought at first I really enjoyed the WCMC, and the first two times I had it, it was the way it was supposed to be, but when we were on the Legend, it just didn't have the flavor, more like chocolate goo. and not gooey enough. I think it depends on when you order it. I wanted to try Blanc and Bitter, but never saw it on the menu. We are doing the Fascination in December, is Blanc and Bitter still on the menu?

  4. What is that wonderfful pudding looking thing with the white and dark chocolate swiss cheesy looking dessert? We booked the Golden Fleece for the night of Belize, since we will all be back on the ship by 12:30. I have heard such wonderful things about the lobster bisque. and I guess that was a picture of the surf and turf. I love food porn. Please tell me what the dessert is before I sail!

  5. When we sail in January it will be our honeymoon! So I'm going to put a Happy Honeymoon (Bride and Groom) on the door. It will embaress sweetums, but he'll get a laugh out of it, and so will our neighbors who think honeymooners have to be young. We are in our late 50's!

  6. On the Legend 1/31/10 our Roll Call will be bringing their teddy bears and we are doing our meet and greet during tea time, on the first sea day. It was something I wanted to do on the Sensation last year, but got involved doing something else. I am really looking forward to this meeting, do you think there will be a problem if about 40 of us show up with bears?

  7. This may have been stated, that Bannister Island is the "Private Island Retreat" Excursion through Carnival Cruise. cc doesn't name the island. Thanks to all that pointed this out to me and it looks wonderful.

  8. Our first night on the Sensation, Sweetums and I decided to check out the karaoke. Some of the singers were wonderful, but the better they were, the more one very drunk person wanted to dance around the singers. She was weaving in and out, bobbing and wobbling, and getting in the face of the singers. A few pushed her away, and she would step back and start doing a suedo strip tease.

She was wearing sandals, the type with the strap that ties around your ankle, and she eventually took these off. But when she attempted to put them on later, she couldn't figure out how to tie them and her feet kept going sideways out of her shoes. Eventually her feet were on the floor, but the shoes were attached to the sides of her feet. Her ? date? a dignified looking older man did attempt to place her feet back in the shoes, but she had a "WANNA DO IT MYSELF" Attitude and they left with those shoes tied to her ankles, but dragging behind her feet. I have to admit that I thought her date ? had a great deal of patience , but sweetems thought that her date? had paid for a companion for the weekend, and got what he paid for.

  9. This happened to me after a MWA cruise. I was fine until I got off the ship, and then after about thirty minutes on land, I felt like I had been drugged. I couldn't stand, couldn't think, it was sooo weird. I checked in early to our hotel and slept the whole day away. Got up in the evening, and was a little groggy, but not dizzy/ditzy. From this I did learn to stay an extra night after arriving at port, just to reaclimate myself to terra firma.
