I was on the Raddison Diamond for Christmas- New Years 1992. It’s first year. I was recently widowed and it was my first cruise alone, without my husband. The staff knew my situation and was very kind. I will never forget it.
I went on this journey as an escape and returned ready to face my new life…sheila

Thank you for the reply. Makes me feel some better. I was shocked when I lost all real time data to my balances and lost the ability to pay online.
It is important for you to be secure with your agent. Talk to them. Tell them your concerns regarding your communications with them. If they are reputable, they will explain their procedures.

I use a TA all the time.
I initially book my cruise directly with Regent.
Then I call my agent to pick up the cruise.
I now pay all balances through my agent.
Make all changes through them. Except those I can make through Regent website, including all my shore excursions etc.I receive a rebate from them.
I have an excellent relationship with them.
They are very responsive to my requests and needs.

We made it to England! We are dog tired since we did not sleep during the flight. We are having a pint in our hotel and going out for chow. The local drunk gave us an official Southampton welcome and we can’t find fish and chips! Will update everyone later.

Herb and I had dinner there years ago, before boarding our ship…loved it. They said it is haunted!
enjoy…

We are sailing on the next cruise…December 2nd… been on Mariner several times before Covid. Spplendor is my favorite. However, Mariner is a great ship. All Regent ships are wonderful.
so looking forward to sailing.

We also don't like flying coach. In fact don't like flying at all, which is why we like itineraries out of Miami in the winter.
Agree…100%….so now we only sail out of Miami of Fort Lauderdale. Wish Regent or Oceania offered summer sailings out of the US. But they don’t. So we do cruises on Celebrity in a suite in the Retreat.. not bad but not Regent.

I’ve had plenty of very good wines for under $20. I was just wondering if this was an included wine or an upgraded wine. I will certainly give it a try. I’m sure I will find 1 or 2 Cabernet’s to my liking.
It was included…

Is this wine you enjoy included? When I look at Raymond cabs online I see prices from $11 to over $400 for their different cabernet offerings. I suspect that Regent includes the $11 vintage (it’s the R class) and you can purchase higher quality Raymond bottles of wine.
See above photo….yes this was included on our last cruise in March 2023.

We have sailed in PHC suites on the Mariner several times. Both on deck 8 and 9. Loved it. We had no problem with the pole.
We just booked a Mariner 2023 cruise in the Caribbean, and for a small addition in money, decided to book an aft Horizon Suite. The balcony looks fabulous.
Any comments?
Sheila.Switched to 831, which we had been in before. Mobility problems require me to be closer to the elevator. We were in this suite twice before and were very happy. I like the pole because it creates a separation between bed and sofa, if you close the curtain.
sheilaPS. Sister and her hubby have just joined us on this cruise.

Raymond…black label….is wonderful. We order it on every cruise now. We have gone through three others..all discontinued. Hopefully, this one will be around for a while..

Can you reduce the gratuity? It a massage is $250… then the gratuity is $50. That’s very high.

Regent provides beach towels…

“No. You'll have to wait until both are eligible to book both.”
🤔🥴
As recently as last winter, I booked dining for us(gold) and friends together on our booking. It was easy.

Do they still offer the shuttle bus?
Where can you rent the golf cart?
Thanks for the good information.

We did the Berlin tour. Although it was a long drive each way, it was so worth it. Found Berlin fascinating. We never would have gone there so we were glad we had this opportunity.

Just to add, trivia is normally at 4:30. We have never made it to Tea 😞
Tea and trivia was held together in the forward lounge until recently. Liked it better when they were held in the same place. Great tea and cakes with fun trivia. Disappointed they were separated!

We are longtime Regent cruisers. We book PH suites, with butler. Sailed on Celebrity in a Royal Suite on Equinox. Had a butler and special dining.
It cannot compare. Regent is hands down… the best!
Butlers on Regent are much more experienced and attentive.
Specialty restaurants have better choices and are much more delicious.
Suites are more luxurious.
In every category, Regent does it better! We will continue to sail on Regent. However, during the summer, we will book a Celebrity Cruise because we do not fly and Regent has no cruises out of Florida, returning to Florida.

We will be in Bimini in September on Equinox. We are not beach people. Any recommendations for us for a few hours there? Thanks.

Changing Euros
in Regent Seven Seas Cruises

I have several hundred euros from my last cruise. We will be in the Caribbean next fall on Mariner. Will I be able to exchange them for US dollars onboard?
