There was a thread a while ago with a similar issue- I think the butler or room steward eventually problem solved and found the sound bar was backwards. Which made the passengers in that cabin unable to hear the TV, and turn the volume up-thereby transmitting the elevated volume to their neighbor.
Perhaps this happened?
But the obvious first step is politely asking your neighbor to to lower the volume-they may not realize how loud they were. Second step would be moving cabins.
I am puzzled by this issue as we never watch television on a cruise! Prefer to sit on the verandah or go listen to music.
This was us !! We could hear the next door TV as clear as a bell ! The butler and room attendant checked it out and found the sound bar was in back to front - hence facing our cabin !
They turned it right way out - and bingo - problem solved !!

This map reminds me of my complete and entirely uncharacteristic lack of getting my bearings in my first few days in Oz. I Was furious. My sense of direction beats anything out of any SatNav but my first few days down there I hadn’t a clue what was where. It felt like I’d lost my superpower and had to ask people where my Hotel was. So much shame.
But,,,,, DW aussies will always tell a pommie where to go !!! 🤣🥂🤩😁

Hi Lois, I wasn’t referring to CC rules, I was referring to the person that joined recently, posted incessantly, criticised anything positive I had to say about Celebrity, avoided answering many questions, reported anyone that questioned them for harassment and then disappeared just as quickly as they arrived. I’m still scratching my head about that one.
HOLEY Carp !! I go away for a few weeks and miss out on all the fun !! 😮😮

A quick thanks for the explanation. You know how it is when you are looking out for the first signs of mind going doolally. (Looking forward to explanations of this British term.)
Lola
Doolally !! My grandmother used that expression frequently !! 😁😁 It covers a multitude of problems ! Haven't heard it in ages but I am now of an age that I need to use it !!
