  1. Many thanks Pingpong1. You are a life saver. The travel insurance forms we need to feel out are almost worse than the virus we bought caught on the ship.
  2. I know this has been asked many times but I can’t seem to find the search function. We need to obtain a copy of our final Splendor bill from our cruise ending March 11. We didn’t notice it outside our door as we left the suite. In the rush of disembarking it slipped my mind. We need it to submit a medical claim to travel insurance. We need to show medical bill as paid. We haven’t received our credit card statement yet and it won’t appear paid until another month after that. we appreciate any help
  3. That's why we love Regent. We end in Miami so se don’t expect cold but you never know. we will remember we may have options. Thanks Marc
  4. Thanks cousin 7 . It does sound lovely. Thanks for the info. Unfortunately Our flight doesn’t leave until 5:15. We may pass on what sounds like a great tranfer as we won’t even be able to check in thar early. We may instead take the excursion/ transfer that they often provide.
  5. Hi Jim. We do remember you and Mary and our fun dinner in Prime 7. I even remember you getting up and asking a passenger if he was someone I had been intrigued with on our roll call. I was very impressed with your outgoing nature. You made Titanium ahead of us. Good for you!
  6. Thank you everyone for the information. It is appreciated. We look forward to being able to make use of this great new benefit. On our next cruise our flight home doesn’t leave until 5:15 so we probably will wait to use this perk and just take an excursion if it is offered.
  7. I have a question for any Titanium members. We are hopefully about to join the ranks on our fast approaching cruise. Luggage tags show it may happen. my question is about a benefit. I thought the provided private transportation was between ship and airport or ship and home or home to airport. Does anyone remember? Was it ever so and is no longer or did I dream it in my long wait to become Titanium? It is currently between ship and airport or ship and home only. It does not offer option home to airport. We thought we finally had one challenge removed but it was a dream. We appreciate any input.
  8. When we were on Mariner the chaise issue was still a thing. A very nice couple saw our problem and had a deck person exchange his chaise with another so we could sit together. It was such a pleasant thing to do.
  9. Thanks Babysteps and LHT 28 for the help.
  10. I am new and want to learn about beverage packages. Is there a search function somewhere? I appreciate any help. This would be our first time.
  11. Am still learning something new on CC about Regent even though we are almost Titanium. Am very grateful and many thanks. Was most disappointed on Mariner last month when I was served Santa Marghrita (spelling?)pinot Grigio First day and then told they had run out. When I questioned Arthur (the head sommelier) at dinner as I had seen it served at lunch he said it was only for one passenger who had requested it prior to the cruise. Later learned on CC others were served it throughout the cruise. Was most disappointed in my favorite and often praised Regent. Had I known it was still available I would have talked to F and B manager but I took him at his word. Definitely a third world problem but I hate seeing tarnish on my shiny Regent. Now, thanks to the folks here on CC I will request it ahead of our next cruise.
  12. We were just in a penthouse on Mariner and there were no binoculars. I didn’t ask butler about them.
  13. You could go to the roll call of the cruise you are consider. Someone may post it there.
  14. Thanks SWFLAOK, Gcto, and Rachel for your input. I appreciate it can be a varied experience. It wasn’t the individual people that were a problem it was more the impact of large numbers moving at the same time and Regents handling the challenge. Another passenger described it better than I in an above post. My husband and I will need to decide if we can be chill enough to not let long meals and other challenges disturb us. We feel for the staff as they struggled to provide the usual Regent experience. The staff was wonderful and tried their best.
  15. We were just on the Mariner with you that is what raised my concern. Thanks for your input.
  16. Thanks Wendy. Bottom line is you won’t know what is going to show up. I either need to stay home or mellow out which isn’t likely with either option.
  17. Thank you Mr Levin for your very informative response. It is much appreciated. I tried to give enough info in hopes of gaining just such feedback as you provided. I guess being within the group it is difficult to accurately know what the outsiders experience is. I am basing my concern on my recent just completed Mariner voyage. In addition we have done many Regent cruises and have been on with large TA escorted groups that have negatively impacted the cruise. When we have the knowledge ahead of time we generally try to avoid this type of experience. I try to avoid booking a cruise with a known distraction. I only accidental made the discovery after doing an onboard booking.
  18. We were on this cruise with you. I am sorry our paths did not cross. We agree that it was a good cruise and the staff was excellent. They did their best to compensate for some of the challenges presented to them. We enjoyed finally being back at sea with Regent. I appreciate your in-depth response. Regent did not handle several aspects well. We too enjoyed PBS. They do a nice job, inclusive but not exclusive.if Regent co-sponsored the large TA group I guess that explains some of the things supported by them. This is exactly my concern as to our newly booked cruise. I guess it will be up to me to see if I will be able to not be bothered by some of the issues I know will occur.
  19. Thanks Wes and chat Kat. I never like being onboard with a large group and this last experience validated that concern. wes, you are correct. The size does make a difference.. The most recent was a group of 70 that impacted several aspects of the cruise.
  20. I am looking for some upbeat help if it exists. We booked a cruise while onboard the Mariner. After arriving home I went to the roll call and learned that a travel agent was escorting a group of her clients on this back to back cruise of 21 days. We were disappointed to learn this as the large TA escorted group on our recent cruise was a distraction in several different ways. We are now reconsidering the future cruise we were excited about booking. Does anyone have a positive slant or experience they can relate that might encourage us to not cancel this cruise?
  21. We just got onboard with no Prime 7 reservation. My first stop was the dinner reservation desk. A very gracious staff member solved it immediately. There was no need to go to the general manager.
  22. I cannot imagine booking with Scenic if that is their policy. It would be a dealbreaker for us.
  23. I agree with you Bill. Between Covid and unexpected illness we have a slew of cancelled bookings too complicated to follow.
  24. Just want to post a positive update. I mentioned the loss of the FCC to our travel agent while thinking about putting down another deposit. She said no problem she could take care of it on the new deposit and she did. Conclusion for me is I have no clear idea of what the current policy is.
  25. Just want to try and reassure people unfamiliar with Los Angeles. I did a google search on driving from our house to the facility housing pier 43. It does not appear overly complicated and came up easily. We booked a ride and do not plan on driving. However, I wanted to see exactly where it is. Not sure how many taxis you will find there. If I had a flight to catch at LAX I would book a ride. However I tend to worry and try to eliminate possible snags ahead of time.
