We were just worried it might mess up the perks - OBC, casino cash, drinks, etc. it probably wouldn’t be a problem to change assignment but didn’t have to worry about it.

We did this last fall. Had two rooms to get the OBC, drinks, etc. We just told steward right away and never used 2nd room. Gave him a small break for the week. It was during reduced capacity so didn’t take room away from anyone - booked two days out. Wife and I have different last names. I wanted to tell steward we met in line while waiting to board and wouldn’t be needing second room. Wife didn’t like that story.

This is what we have done. OP, I’m surprised though you both couldn’t qualify in one room. Our PVP has been able to do this multiple times for us since the drinks everywhere is usually only good for one. In multiple cruises we both got the drink offer in one room.

I just completed survey as well. Agree with others that current offerings are horrible. I said as much during survey. Having better options won’t change the time I spend in my room but for the few minutes in the morning or at night before bed I expect more than what they offer now.

Very much worth the upcharge. We enjoy it at least once one every cruise.

Anything but jalapeños. I lost sense of smell last fall, glad it wasn’t taste. Btw, great review. Makes me want to go back to Alaska. On the Panorama now, hoping we don’t experience the Covid cases like you all did.
