Sorry if I'm resurrecting this thread, but a friend of ours purchased a 4-Device package for our upcoming Anthem sailing together. She got basically no instructions as to how it all works, so I'm guessing they'll be something in her stateroom when she boards? How do you get the login credentials, etc? Thanks!

just look at it this way, most drinks on royal are between 9-15 dollars so 5-6 drinks a day to get your value.. i say book asap. i haven't seen below 55 on my booking. also considering if you're a coffee person the premium coffee is included also bottles of water which comes in handy. you'll defiantly get yours money worth at that price IMO
This. If you can see yourself averaging 5-6 drinks per day, the beverage package is worth it in the $50 range. Keep in mind that it's also bottled water, coffees/teas, fresh juice, etc. Not just alcohol.

You're better off just ordering individual glasses that are covered by the drink package. Don't bother with a bottle.

Keep checking your Cruise Planner.
Oh I do. Every single day, lol.

Ok, thanks for the replies! Curious if it will be on my Anthem sailing this coming March.

Has anyone done the "Prohibition Party" before? I've tried searching for information online and haven't found much. Is it worth it, and is it available only on certain ships?
Thanks!

I’d rather skip Nassau and do an overnight at Coco Cay
My thoughts exactly!

It's really unpredictable, unfortunately. I would buy travel insurance now, so that in the event a storm is coming, or something happens, you're covered.

The JS is our favorite stateroom layout on Royal. Closer to a square shape.
That's what interests me. I currently have one of those square shaped balconies on Anthem. Not too thrilled about the obstructed view, but I couldn't beat the price when I booked it. Hoping the JS goes down in price as it gets closer.

Sounds similar to a Junior Suite on Royal.
Similar. The Junior Suite is markedly larger than a regular balcony. The Concierge Class is only slightly larger than a regular balcony. I wouldn't go out of my way to pay more for Concierge Class. I'm considering a JS on my upcoming sailing.

Was that a suite that you got?
No, unfortunately. That would have been amazing. Concierge Class is basically a cabin with a bigger balcony, better balcony furniture, and access to better amenities.

Nice jump up!
Yea, it was very nice. Kind of spoiled me on balcony cabins, lol.

Not on RCCL, but I had a guarantee on Celebrity once and ended up with Concierge Class. It was close to sail date.

I vote for a craft beer bar... Place was dead on our last two Rhapsody sailings.
Craft Beer bar would be cool. It seems like restaurants like Izumi are always vacant. On Celebrity, I never saw more than 2 people in their sushi restaurant.

Hi
I just went and looked at a few of them.
Very odd that they list times for places to eat, things like gym and casino, but not the bars.
Noreen
That is weird. Trying to put together a Bar Crawl for my next sailing, and wondering what time the non-pool bars open up. Thanks for checking! Loved the review!

Noreen, did any of the Cruise Compasses list the opening hours for the bars onboard the Anthem?

Sorry to burst your bubble but somewhere embedded in the Terms and Conditions there must be a clause alluding to Mistake Pricing whereby Royal Caribbean has every right not to accept the mistake pricing and ask for the rest of the money or cancel the reservation or in this case beverage package.
We all received messages today that they are honoring the packages.....

Checked my spam folders, nothing. I got confirmation through RCCL on Twitter

I still haven't got an email...
I'm not overly concerned.
Neither have I, but RCCL confirmed that all of my bookings have the package correctly applied.

My husband likes John Bull - it is a huge store, but they have sections devoted to watches. I believe it is within walking distance of the ship.
Thank you!

One thing, when you booked the cruise you agreed to the contact with Royal (any cruise line), agreed to terms and conditions. It allows them to correct pricing errors. If people have an issue, don’t book a cruise.
Good morning, Contract King!

Sorry, but most companies do not honor major price mistakes like this. This may not be popular to say here but Royal should not either.
I mean, come on people - everyone knew it was an error on RC's part. Everyone tried to take advantage of that error. Sometimes an error may slip through but often it is caught and corrected
No one should be bashing Royal for a mistake that everyone knew was too good to be true.
Most of the bashing has to do with how they handled this whole thing. First, they say they are going to honor it. Then they say they won't. Then, "It's a glitch". No, it isn't.

No. That's not what the hullabaloo is about.
If someone on my roll call posts that he got a price drop, and I don't see the post until a week later, and the price drop is gone, I don't feel that I have been wronged.
Exactly. If I miss out on a sale, that's on me.
What has us all worked up is the way this entire situation has been handled. I'm hoping they realize they can easily afford to honor the sale for all who purchased it.
