  1. Tomorrow’s Reflections for those leaving in Miami. I’ll start a new thread for our continuing voyage to San Diego. Stay tuned. Did our farewells to Mark Farris and the great entertainers, lecturers and staff that are leaving the ship in Miami. The 2024 World Cruise starts tomorrow! 2. Cruising along at 15 knots on a flat flat sea. Nice way to spend the afternoon. Rob
  3. As G noted, Press Reader is loaded on the in room tablet. The app can also be loaded onto your personal device(s), but the content is only viewable onboard through the ship’s intranet. I could not download the link here, but I just took a screenshot of the first page of the News tab. There are many publications available. Rob
  4. Current guidance onboard states our arrival at Terminal E tomorrow. But it’s Miami and subject to change. Rob
  5. Today’s menus and Reflections. 90EB5394-2F29-4E92-BC16-E4A185818AFA.pdf 7E004A84-74A9-464B-940D-4A41600A4D5B.pdf F7D5070D-F654-4971-B5F3-F80A31B16C84.pdf
  6. The party’s not over just yet. Caviar, oysters Rockefeller, beef Wellington, king crab on offer in Waterside tonight. And we gain back an hour on the clock tonight. We’re plodding along at about 15 knots in a perfectly flat sea. We’re staying onboard the next cruise through the Canal to San Diego. So no luggage tags for us just yet. Once we get to Miami, I’ll start a new thread for the continuing adventure. Thank you G for starting this thread and kindly allowing me to augment (and post menus and Reflections.) Rob

  9. I also had the osso bucco tonite. And the answer to your question is yes. It was delicious. Rob
  10. Dwight, we have an ever multiplying assortment of gin samplers. Plus 1 liter bottles of Knob Creek and Grey Goose. And white wine. And red wine. And a fridge full of enough mixers, waters and soft drinks to open our own 7-Eleven! Rob
  11. Like the gin collection, the afternoon snack tray keeps multiplying.
  12. Osteria menu changed today. We were there last night. This was not last nights menu. Several new items added. 4BF2E711-96C9-4467-B7D4-052874536786.pdf

    White Night

FWIW, we rarely attend this event anymore. It’s held in the Cove/atrium. The acoustics are abysmal. It’s overamplified and painfully loud. Many people enjoy this entertainment event. Fortunately, there are plenty of other options for those seeking an alternative entertainment. Definitely do not obsess about clothing color. The staff wears white. The guests wear what they feel comfortable wearing. Rob
  17. Tomorrow’s menu and Reflections attached. Tonight’s featured Galaxy main stage, Marco Romano. Wow. Well deserved standing ovation. Rob 07B28079-B5C5-47D0-B520-1F9533A0DB25.pdf B79FA9D8-638C-48CC-89C2-287C4B0F0A39.pdf
  18. Sunset and Louis sings and the sailboat-as-prop frames the setting sun. Nice.
  19. Try a day pass. ResortPass.com offers various resort day pass options. Rob
  20. The sun returned this afternoon. Nice day in Gustavia.

  22. For those that find the ship’s port guides useful, they are available every day at the shore excursions desk. A copy of today’s guide is attached as an example. Rob Castries.pdf
  23. Parting shot. Made it back onboard before the afternoon tropical deluge soaking. Rob
