We used to do this pre-pandemic, but now it is hardly worth it. The price has gotten so high and with added delivery charge it is just as cheap to buy at the bar.
So much this. I can't see how they're not losing money by not selling room bottles. I guess they know their bottom line best and assume everyone will just spend more time in the bars.
Not me, I'll have my organic shampoo and conditioner in the fridge🤣

The 6+ ones are generally longer.
Kidding, as others have said longer cruises tend to be less "party crowd"

I get ya being angry about it, honestly I would be too. Like what the **** but, the promos are per person so that sucks. There's people who likely have better offers than I do, and it would suck to be on the call though.
But, the poor folks working their tails off didn't do it!

You're why they should bake the tips in the fare.
Unreal.

I just hope whatever it is is retroactive. Especially if suites get more credit. We used to cruise in suites only for the extra room with the kids and Priority Embark/Debark but now that the kids have aged out, we're good with Balconies unless the upgrade fairy blows us away.
Yes, I want it all about me🤣

On the Glory a couple of months ago the SoS was back as I recall, although it might be wishful thinking on my part. No one would be able to cross check my answers because of my cruddy handwriting.
Same here, I make a Dr look like calligraphy.

You previously could order bottles from Room Service. Assume you still can from the ripoff list with a service fee.
$20 worth of Rum Runners is now my go to.

I still think Suite stays should earn more than interior like on RC...makes more sense to me.

I've booked the Port side of that room in 14476 in August. Can't wait! Sadly, I like the layout of 14495 better...would prefer the seating area next to the balcony but, I'll take it either way!

I really can't see why anyone would find it fun to win a game like this through cheating.
Gotta get that ship on a stick!

Agreed, takes the fun out of it. Should be held in a wifi free area, and should swap for grading.

There's really only two, there's the Carnival Lot, and the one just outside the gate in the Old Convenience store. If you're parking in the Carnival lot, no reason to call or reserve.

So, set time diners can't be seated at several alternative restaurants until around 7:45? I don't think that's correct.
No, that's accurate. May be ~7:30

Did they do any kind of Status Match?
We're hitting Platinum on our next 2 cruises, her first, so I was just curious if this is something RCL does. I know MSC will.
Thanks for your observations.

Was out there in Nov, up everywhere! No more cheap craps at Binion's!
$10 craps minimums prices me out of a lot of playing time.

Minimums are up everywhere...

The Carnival site shows Cucina as an upcharge and no mention of the 1 time free meal at Chibang, which shows as included. Confusing for sure.

I'm just asking for folks to be clear with their words and intentions. How is asking for clarity "baiting" anyone, unless the words I'm asking for clarity around are taking cheap shots at certain groups of people?
*i'll note that I've asked for clarification three times in this thread and have been ignored by all of those original posters.
"taking cheap shots at certain groups of people?" This is the bait I'm referring to. You're looking to get someone to say something that will trigger a liberal backlash. Nice try fishing sport, none of them took your bait.

I certainly haven't seen them on a ship. I leave for a short 4 day weekend cruise out of Galveston at end of the month. I will be on the lookout. I am expecting lots of kids and lots of partying 20 somethings. I will report back.
Seen dogs in ports much more recently. Have seen dogs roaming halls in port prior to covid in certain ports.

Care to clarify what you mean? this seems to be a broad generalization without anything specific backing it up.
You seem like you're just trying to bait someone in this entire thread.

The song and dance on the deck in the heat would do **** all in an actual abandon ship emergency.
