OK, that's what I thought the difference was. I really don't understand why they offer just the drink package at a higher price than the combined package
with the just the drink package, it is OK if only one person in the cabin orders the package.

Although I had the drink package, it will not cover any drinks delivered to the stateroom.
that was the way it used to be, but not with the current PLUS and Premier packages. In fact, you can order multiple beers to be delivered at the same time. Of course, not exactly the same as having them cold in the fridge when entering for the first time. That is why our first start is the lobby bar for a beer and a pina colada - smooth, not icy.

I like
a couple lines of text, and a couple of pictures if applicable - a nice short read.
I'd rather read 50 posts than 10 posts that contain the same information

I have a cruise booked with no package as it is a short one...but according to the app I have the pkg...
I'm sure you have your reasons, OBC, etc, but short, less than 7 days, are a perfect time to utilize the PLUS or even Premier packages - Premier having 2 Specialty dinners included and the unlimited casual

our table for 2 turned into a 10 top when the server brought 5 tables of food / drinks at the same time

Is there a restaurant on board Princess ships for suite guests only?
yes, for breakfast ...

when is Princess going to learn its demographic, ditch the ladders, and build a few steps with a handrail to get in and out of the pools? how about the SUN P? would it really be that hard or expensive?

There are no bathtubs in the Sun/Star mini-suites. My DW is not happy! 🥺
That may actually get us to look at those cabins again - shower/tub combo was a no go for us.

There were two of us, each used one casual dining credit.
I ate there three other times (Premier Cruise Package). Smaller the other times as it was just me..
so, 2 different cruises? one with PLUS?

Which is expected. The ship won’t be 100% completed. There will be continuation work inside for a month or so.
Huh? - why is that expected? Did the SUN P lose a restaurant during sea trials - that's a whole lot of shakin' goin' on

SUN P had recently undergone sea trials - have any problems been reported that came up during those?
What about Resilinet Lady - sea trials?

I wonder if they will.
I know some of the crew have been there for a couple of weeks. So I was hoping for those who had booked that it would indeed still be a go.

You can charge casino play to your on board account. If your account has a credit balance from OBCs then the casino play will net against that balance. You can not use the casino as an ATM.
before - the casino could be used as a reverse atm - you put the money into the casino pre-cruise - then got cash from the casino, no gambling involved.

We used to be able to buy casino credits in advance and then turn them in for cash at the casino service desk.
as did we - which was not the same as buying general OBC. Looks like it is no longer available on the Princess website - at least not under onboard experiences.

Or go for broke and pick something over $20; they will charge you for the excess (and add 18% for the tip automatically).
more than a few $1.18 charges from Vines on our last cruise

15 alcoholic drinks per Princess 'day' - 6 am to 6 am
but at Princess discretion, you can buy additional drinks 🥂

Buy some casino credit pre-cruise. Take the voucher to the casino, and they will give you cash back.

Also our rooms seemed to be the ‘nicer’ ones or better locations.
within your group, how were the cabins assigned at the lodges? did cruise 'suite' guests get better cabins?

All I need is a double roadie from Vines and I'm good ... until I can order in the mdr

Princess has the perfect opportunity to take back over the strict enforcement of clothing in the traditional dining room on the SUN Princess when it launches.
