  1. Never had a problem with the taste.  They hand them out without charge when getting off ship.  Not one to complain about free too often.  We usually don't have the packages.

  2. Down 0.4 this week.  Thought it would be more after carrying the 29 pound boy around all week.  But then again I did not stay on my plan well.  I just grabbed what i could to eat whenever i got a chance.  I really don't remember how I used to do the baby thing and work too!  But I really miss the little guy now that he is back at his home.  Hope everyone has a good week....Susan

  3. Hi Guys!

I'm baaack...  Before we started cruising in September I had lost 25 lbs (with help of y'alls support).  After approximately 130 days on a cruise ship I have gained 19 of those lbs back.  I am not kicking myself...that's why I lost it so I could enjoy the cruises without having to restrict myself.  Well....now it is time to start restricting😁.  Coming here for additional accountability certainly helps.  Now it is time to get back in my cruise clothes again.  Our next booked cruise is August 7 so I have some time.

Izena did I read that you are a retired nurse?  If so, we have that in common.  Prior to Covid I actually let my license lapse.   I had anticipated a nursing shortage and did not want to feel guilty for not going back.  I had no idea how true that thought would become.

Belle, as usual thank you for being there.

Jan, so sorry to hear about your health threat.  Just don't let it be a mental threat too.  We are here if you just want to come and SCREAM.  Prayers always your way.

To everyone else..I am talking way too long.  Will talk later.  I can't make up for 10 months of absence in one posting😄....Susan

Many years ago(1995) I was on the Celebration when it caught fire in the engine control room. 2 days at sea with no power until Ecstasy came to rescue us. We had to transfer via lifeboat and were assigned same cabin number on both ships. No effort was made to transfer to like cabins. Luggage was delivered to cabins. We couldn't bring any bags onto lifeboat with us. This should be a much easier process to organize as passengers can walk from one ship to another and appear to still have power to hotel operations.

Remember it well.  We were in Miami Airport when we were told our cruise was cancelled on the Ecstacy.  Told to turn around and go back home!  Instead we rented a van and drove very fast to Port Canaveral and got on Primier Oceanic. Wow what a story that was.  Our family had flown in from Denver to meet us in Miami.  Only a good travel agent could have made those arrangements.

  5. Hi Guys!

Checking in again.  One more cruise to go before I talk weight😄.  Will be home for over 2 months this summer.  1-2 weeks in a row is the most we have been home since we started back cruising in September.  It has been fun but it is soon time to pay the piper(scale).  Meghan I will be joining you back on my Nutrisystem in June.  I did well with it prior to 16 cruises.  Needless to say the cruise clothes are getting tight again.  Hope everyone is doing well.  I don't get to read every post but do keep up some.  Belle thank you for maintaining the post.  It does seem to help when I am trying....Susan

We requested to change cabins but they said that no cabins were available, when I replied” what if the toilet isn’t fixed” guest services” the plumber is very busy but is aware of your problem” and if it keeps breaking after the plumber shows up ‘which it did everyday. The smug guest service rep ” then we will keep sending the plumber

And I thought we had some shi**y service!😟

Tonight I received a gift from the casino. A set of packing cubes, a folding sun hat and a large tube inside a rectangle piece of material that says PRINCESS PLAYERS CLUB. Does anyone know what you’re supposed to do with the material?  What is it?

Finally got mine too.  Makes no sense to give gifts after everyone has packed....oh well.  Thanks for the reply.

  8. On board now.  Did anyone get a casino VIP gift to their room last night?  We usually get something on formal night but didn't this time.  Hard to find out why because left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing on this ship.  It is getting VERY frustrating.

What is a VIP casino cruise? What makes it VIP?

Got freeplay.  Should have been a welcome on board party (didn't happen "due to Covid").   Should be tournaments and games for VIP only.  Not happening...again probably "due to Covid".  Have only gotten strawberries in room.  Surprised Covid didn't eat those!  The only thing that has been for the VIP guests only is a drawing at 11:15 at night.  Not impressed.

  10. Thanks Ken for your postings.  We are 2 of those 3000 people getting on Caribbean Princess today.  We started back sailing post Covid in September on Edge with 487 passengers.  This will be our 15th cruise post Covid and each time there have been increasing numbers.  Sounds like we are on a full one today!  Glad that cruising is surviving so well but we Really enjoyed those smaller numbers.  Safe travels....

  11. The laundry for Princess and Carnival do not compare.  I only send my husband's Tshirts and socks on Carnival.  Always come back a little Grey.  On Princess our laundry comes back on hangers and almost look like they have been ironed.  I will send almost all of our clothes to the Princess Laundry.
