Great thread and I love your photos!!

I am sailing on the 23rd and have a quick question:

Is there a "baby splash zone" on board.

 

All ships have a kiddie area, but some (like Oasis class) have a small area with only a few inches of water strictly for babies in swim diapers. It is filtered separately and independent of the regular kids zone.

 

I was on Quantum in November, but didn't think to check!

There is definitely an h2o zone on the ship. It has a bunch of dreamworks characters and is set up for kids. It looks fun!

We had another great day yesterday! What I love most about this ship is that you can walk by the same place several times and you notice something different. There are a lot of little inset areas that have neat things to see. We also did the iFly yesterday and loved it! The solarium is gorgeous and so far, we have had no problems finding a chair or getting in the hot tub (which is honestly not vey hot). We had another terrific dinner last night at Chops Grille and, without sounding too much like Mary Poppins, we are truly having a ball! Mama Mia was terrific and we love Vintages. Great bartender and great service.

Today we have the zip line scheduled in Labadee and we are looking forward to a nice relaxing beach day. The weather is beautiful! We have had no problems with dinner reservations and have been in and out of all three restaurants we tried so far in a little over an hour. We have been offered refills on our drinks as well. The assistant waiters have really helped.

We had a FABULOUS dinner at Wonderland! We enjoyed it so much that we are booking it again for my birthday. What a cool experience. Delicious and different food, incredible atmosphere and AWESOME waitstaff! We knew our waiter from the Chefs Table on the Allure.:D. It was the most fun and interesting dining experience that I have had in a long time.

We are now enjoying a Moët at Vintages and waiting to go to the comedy show.

Any idea as to why the internet is free again? Also, any indication on whether it may still be free for the next cruise on 1/23?

No idea why the captain gave us free internet again or if it will remain that way. He just announced it at the muster drill. My royal IQ app is also a little slow on my phone, but it does work.

I am also happy to answer any questions I can. Tonight we are booked at Wonderland. I am really looking forward to that!

Also, for anyone interested in our meal at Chic, my husband had salmon and said it was very good. I had the crab cake, which was spicy and delicious and lamb t-bone, which I ordered medium rare and it was cooked perfectly.

I am also on this cruise and so far, we are having a ball! We stayed up late last night and I won. 1,100 bucks in the casino!! On a penny machine!:D

We had a wonderful dinner at Chic! The food was delicious and we sat next to a lovely couple and chatted the whole time! Also, the Moët is still included in the drink package. My husband is still sleeping and I am off to get some coffee. Just wanted to check in! This ship is gorgeous as others have said.

Thanks! It's about a two hour drive for us in good traffic. I a a freak about getting there on time and we usually cruise out of a port where we go a day ahead of time.

I have nightmares about missing a cruise.:eek:

Hi!

So we will be driving to Bayonne and our arrival time scheduled for the ship is 10:45. We have never done this before and from reading some of your posts, I can see that parking can be congested. I was wondering what a good arrival time at the parking facility would be.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Well my SIL just texted again and said that it is definitely a serious medical emergency. There was a stretcher and 8 cops on board. Still no announcements.

My SIL says they are still in port with no announcements about what happened this time and no plan to leave anytime soon.

My SIL is on the phone now. She says that someone had a heart attack. They closed the casino. She doesn't care at all. They are going to the hot tub. They are pulling into port now.

My SIL says they are heading back out and picking up speed. Scheduled to get to Labadee at 12:15 tomorrow.

My SIL SAYS THEY JUST STOPPED 1/2 mile off the coast.

My SIL Is on this cruise and is texting us now. Someone fell down the stairs. A tender is coming for them so the ship does not completely have to come back to Ft. Lauderdale.
