every one will be different, based on what the chef wants to cook.
worth every penny, and more.
Ditto for us!:D. Delicious food, plenty of wine and we have never met anything but great people there! We have done it twice and will be doing it again in just about three weeks! Fabulous!

Just 5 days shy of surprising my husband with his Christmas gift of our first cruise. My 11yr accidentally let it slip today. I had purchased a toy yacht to wrap with the set sail pass. I haven't told him where we are going so that will still be a surprise but still bummed as that was his only gift other than stocking stuffers. Only 9 days to go to Liberty.
What an awesome present!! he just got it a few dates early!

We always take in Karoake....there is NEVER enough Karoake for us....we always want more. It amazes me how much talent arrives on board, labeled 'cruisers'. They make the cruise a little extra fun....and my DH is one of those Karoake stars!
I always sing Karaoke!:D...........unfortunately, I am not very good!

We always fly in at least a day before the cruise.
We always purchase our Welcome Aboard photo-even if it's awful!:D
We always go to the Schooner Bar for a drink right after boarding.
We always play 'win a cruise' BINGO- mind you, we have never won it, but we are always hopeful.
Tara
P.S. I'm sure I can think of some more!

Istanbul, Barcelona - ports are right in the middle of downtown close to all the action.
Least favorite - Colon
Most surprosing ports of call during a cruise that you never expected to be so memorable - Lanzarote(Canary Isl), Marmaris(Dalyan - Turkey)
Oh gosh! I forgot about Barcelona! We love that port too! I could stay in Barcelona for a month! :D

Well, Neal, I agree with you that leaping out of your seat in the middle of the middle row is a little rude to other passengers and most especially to the performers. But I don't see what MTD's got to do with it (got to do with it, got to do with it;)) People leave the theater
-to line up early for early seating (why? I do not know)
-to leave the theater before the CD starts yammering on about bingo
-they have a reservation or plans to meet someone somewhere else on board
-because they are bored, tired, have restless leg syndrome or have to pee
So while I agree it's a great idea for people with short attention spans, weak bladders, jumpy legs, or reservations, to sit in the balcony or rear of the theater, (as I always do, since at any time I may suffer from any one of these ailments...especially boredom) I still can't figure out why this would be a problem caused by MTD reservations??
Watch it sister!:D. I heart Bingo!:D

Wow! Why do these threads always turn ugly?:(. The OP gave a basically very nice review with their honest opinions and a very real disappointment of the DL and Loyalty Ambassador services. I thought it was pretty clear that they had a great time but were just a bit disappointed in the reception of their excitement of being Diamond.
We are very much excited about becoming Diamond members and although we don't expect anyone on the cruise to bow down to us, I think it is very reasonable to expect a little fanfare from the people whose job it is to do so.:). We never even got Emerald pins and have been Emerald for the last couple of cruises. Obviously, that hasn't deterred us from cruising, but it would have been nice to get those pins. We love the loyalty program at RCCL, but what's wrong with expecting a little recognition for your loyalty? I guess my point is we are so quick to judge where others come from and insert our own point of view.

Hi Tara. It's not available for me online either. It has changed though where you can book for just one person on the other alcohol packages so I know they are working on making the changes. I'm sure if the Ultimate is not available prior to our sailing you can purchase onboard.
Thanks, Rene. It's good to know it's not just me! :D. Maybe this is a sign that I just shouldn't purchase it.

You can now book the new drink packages online. BUT! I was not able to book the Ultimate package.:(. I can pretty much book anything else, just not that one.
I called RCCL and the rep told he that it was the only package NOT bookable online right now and that it 'should be' available sometime in December. Just curious to see if this is consistent information.
Thanks,
Tara

OH MY GOSH! You guys must be jumping out of your shoes!:D. Thank you so much for taking us along with you! We sail in 5 weeks and I am truly living through you guys! I hope you get to post some pics of the RFS! We were upgraded to a CL suite and I am beyond excited! ( Insert happy dancing smiley). We have never been in a suite before and my husband says this is dangerous. I have no idea what he is talking about.:D
