So! I just wanted to share something.:D. You guys may think I am nuts, but I just upgraded us from a D5 cabin to a GS!

My Dad just had open heart surgery and my brother, sister and I have been very stressed out. A couple of days ago, my brother and I went to a casino after visiting my Dad and I won 5,000 bucks!:cool: AnywAy!

We always consider extra money as "fun money". So! I used my fun money to upgrade to a GS! We have never stayed in a suite before and this will make us Diamond members. My husband doesn't even know I did this, but he will be fine with it.

Am I nuts or what?!

We are going on the gorgeous Allure for the second time this January and could not be more excited! We are so happy that we didn't do it all the first tine! We are so looking forward to the Aqua show, the comedy show, the zip line and spending more time on our balcony and at the pool! :D

P.s. Enjoy this beautiful ship to the fullest and don't try to do it all! You will have a reason to return.

Awwww! I'm sorry to hear of your experience. I honestly think it varies from ship to ship. We had terrific dining experiences on both the Allure and the Radiance, but tried Chops on the Liberty and it just wasn't as good.

The Concierge Lounge on Allure offers made to order breakfast and lunch, with beer available at lunch. Each evening they have a cocktail hour with free soda, house wine, beer, basic mixed drinks, and hot/cold snacks.
