Exactly what happened to my husband as I mentioned earlier. Two Captain circle numbers.
Pleased it was finally resolved. All it takes is someone who understands the issue.

I have looked in the FAQ for bidding and did not see if you have the option of declining a winning bid if you did not like the new stateroom location.

On our cruise that left from Pier 46, we dropped bags and checked in at 93 and were bused to 46. Plenty of signage indicating such.

On another thread a member indicated she had her bid accepted for a cruise that has been showing no availability for a window suite on her Oct 8 cruise.
How is the bidding system doing? Any comments

Our May flights booked thru EZAir were ticketed at 30 days. I was checking daily thru Personalizer, Travel Summary. Ticket numbers will show there.

Some of the ships may not qualify. I am not keeping close track of this promotion. Just really curious. I am just surprised that not one single poster has come back to say they "won" the lottery.
I may be wrong, but I thought it was for sailings commencing October. Winners could be notified at any time of winning bids.

DH had a similar problem that was caused by having two Captains Circle accounts. He had issues logging into his original account, was asked for additional info and the system created a second account.
Our CVP was able to combine the two accounts and returned to his original status. -

The hold is for a Caribe Balcony, the bid was for a Premium starting at $85, Minisuite - $275, Club Class - $435. Currently a Premium Balcony is $200 additional than the hold.
We are currently booked and paid in full for this cruise and the following. No invitation to bid on these. The additional cabin was for our grandsons.

Just received an invitation to bid on a cruise I put on hold yesterday. No deposit planning on letting the hold expire tonight. This is for the Sapphire departing December 2.

Nope, we have only had jugs (kettles) on cruises out and back to Southampton. Our April TA from FLL to Southampton nothing. Southampton to Southampton jugs were available with sugars, sweetener, instant coffees and creamers.

Still waiting for reimbursement for expenses after required isolation after disembarking Emerald Princess in May. We received FCC for isolation onboard but nothing since applying for additional hotel days and monies for expenses. No insurance company involved, waiting for promised funds from Princess as documented in letter on disembark.

Absolutely, I always have fresh flowers in our stateroom. Have purchased in many ports. We always carry a small vase with us which allows for a small selection. Photo from our May TA. Picked up Lilly of the Valley in Cherbourg. Freesias in the Azores, along with a white wine Sangria.

Try using Way dot com for parking options in San Diego. Make sure you read the rules for reservations. We have used them many times with great pricing They offer many different options for San Diego. Highly recommend booking as soon as possible as parking is severely limited at the airport due to construction putting a strain on local lots. Word of warning the Laurel Street parking structure is very tight parking and can be a nightmare.

Our remaining cruises for 2022 have all been marked do not upgrade and have received emails for 3 of the 4. Nothing worth bidding on.

If you meet all the eligibility requirements but still cannot access the bidding site, please check with your travel advisor as a small number of travel agencies have elected to limit access partially or fully to this program.
I have a booking with a big box agency and wonder if they will have access. They never passed on upgrade offers in the past so I wonder about passing this along.

Received an email for one of our upcoming cruises. Will not be following thru on the process as we are very content with the cabin we have chosen.
Did go into Personalizer to see if I could see the bid page there, no luck. The only way is to click on the link contained in the email.

Checked our next booking with flights this morning and found we are ticketed. American Airlines, ticketed 44 days out. No surprises.

If I remember correctly during the presentation the gentleman from the company running the program indicated not all ships are participating in the launch of the bidding process. Cannot remember which ships are participating.

While it is disappointing to not have the correct color on your medallions when boarding it will not make any difference as one of the party is Platinum. Once on board, or if you want to waste time at check in, the sticker denoting level will be replaced.
