Re: the OBC, even if you have lots and lots of OBC to use, they will still charge you the 5% convenience fee to get cash at the casino.
The limit for getting cash on your seapass account is $2k per person, per day.
They won't if you set up your onboard account as a cash account...you can then withdraw however much of your OBC you want from the casino at no charge....after the OBC is all gone, you can then add a credit card to your onboard account to avoid having to stand in line at GS on the last day...

Just got off with their website support. I have to change my passwords and user names each time I try to access my passwords.
At first the rep said she had no idea why. Then eventually said they're aware of the problem and yes indeed I would have to change my passwords and user names each time. Arrghhhhh
So far I've not had a problem with passwords & logging in...but the rest of the site leaves much to be desired...

It's the most confusing mess I've ever seen...RCL has reached a new level in their lack of customer service...
-
Just when you thought they couldn't possibly make the site any worse...:eek:I didn't think it was possible for them to make their website any more cumbersome to use, but kudos to RC's IT team...They did it!.
Yep...pretty much sums up my feelings!! Trying to price a JS for my Dec 2016 cruise & darn if I can figure out how to find one....it keeps showing me D3 cabins...and I am already booked in a D2 so why would I want to downgrade...smh!
-
Out of all the thousands of people cruising I'm sure you are not the only one who will show up at the port without a SetSail pass...my parents are in their 80's...don't own a computer...and have no desire to own one...if it wasn't for me filling out their info online & printing it out for them they would not have a clue...go...ENJOY your cruise....:D

But is it on the ship's with just a CL, not Coastal Kitchen, like Navigator?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No it's not...
-
It won't matter....since you are family & the onboard account is linked the OBC will come off whatever total amount you spend on board...
-
Sorry to see that your cruise has been chartered...this happened to me last Dec. on the Brilliance also....with all the charter's on this ship it makes me very hesitant to book it for any time...a shame cause I enjoyed the ship & it's an easy drive to port...
-
Resurrecting an old thread because I just realized we'll be at exactly 140 nights after our soon-to-be-booked next cruise. Will we get the block on that sailing (12-night on Anthem), or will get it on whatever ship our next cruise is on?
Would love to have the Anthem one! Thanks for your help!

You should get it on the sailing that your reach the required points...probably wouldn't hurt to call C&A before you leave & make them aware of the upcoming milestone...and check in with the LA after boarding to be sure you are on the list to receive a block...

Just prizes for winning...which can be anything from a Key chain...to a RCCL Ball Cap...:D

Is Tampa an option if sailing from Port Canaveral?
It's an option...but it's also clear on the other side of the state.. a 2 hr or more drive depending on traffic...

I haven't used the Diamond Lounge or the "free" drinks yet, but, my understanding is it is just beer, wine, simple highballs, you can't get things like Margaritas, Pina Coladas, etc. Also, can anyone answer my question about advantages/disadvantages of buying the package ahead of time? I thought for sure Bob would answer me, but, {sigh}...he let me down..{sigh}
Just kidding, Bob, you know I love you! :D:D
You are correct...the voucher drinks are the same basic drinks you would get in the DL...
When I bought the soda package I bought it onboard using OBC, it was exactly the same price as it would have been if I'd ordered it online...this was in Port Canaveral...I would imagine the other packages would be the same...so I would wait & use your OBC...

As long as you are in the US there should be no charge for changing cabins within the same category...other countries have different rules & are charged for any changes to their bookings...
-
What happens if I one person is a Diamond Club member and the person sharing the cabin is not? Will both be allowed access to the club when coming together?
They are not supposed to on Royal...On Celebrity though your cabin mate is allowed to attend with you even if they do not have your status...

Congrats on the Edoc's!!! Mine for my Alaska cruise in a few weeks were late...I think around day 40....I was really getting anxious!
-
Thank you! That is what I was hoping to see...we still get into Seatac pretty early...but at least I won't be worried if we have any delays at the border...
-
Does anyone know what time the latest bus leaves the Canada Place cruise pier to Seatac? We get back to Vancouver from our Alaska cruise on Sept. 18th...I looked at their schedule online but am confused if there are any buses that leave later than 9:00 am...our flight home from Seattle is not until 9:30 pm...I will be traveling with my 80+ yr old parents...so renting a car is not an option for me...thanks!

Here is the link to the Royal Website where they can enroll now...

Yes...and for points a JS is considered a suite...:D

Does that mean I withdraw them for money at Guest Services?
I leave on my cruise in less than 2 weeks. Do I still have time to at the points to this cruise for OBC?
You should have time to redeem points for your upcoming cruise, but you need to do it ASAP!! Points are redeemed electronically now, so they post pretty quickly...you redeem 5,000 pts for each $50 in OBC...and yes...you can get cash from guest services if you do not use all your OBC...but usually not until the last day...if you set up your onboard account as a cash account then you could go to the casino & withdraw cash & not be charged the 5% fee.
Here is the link for redeeming your points online...

My personal opinion....unless you are a night person don't book a hump balcony on a Radiance class ship! They have soooo much music & entertainment going on in the centrum until very late in the evening that the hump cabins are very noisy! I had 8088 on the Brilliance last April & even with the cabin door closed we could hear the music in the Centrum....if you can possibly move forward or rear evn 4-5 cabins it will be quieter...if you are a night owl...then disregard...:D

I sailed Adventure a few years ago & even now, it's still one of my favorite cruises...going again in Dec. 2016...just wish I didn't have so long to wait!

I am looking at Hotels for my 2/28/16 Allure cruise...I have enough points to stay free at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites 2540 Davie Rd...can anyone give me any insight into this hotel? Reviews for the most part are good...I'm just not sure if there is any place to eat nearby as I won't have a car...arriving around 6:30 at night, so it will probably be dark by the time I get to the hotel & get checked in...so need a safe area to walk as well...Thanks!

And depending on the ship/LA/or cabin steward D+ may or may not get the Nuts AND cookies...out of 4 cruises since the basket went away I've gotten the nuts 1 time...Miss the basket but I like the cookies though...
How do you navigate the new RCI website?
in Royal Caribbean International

You have to go to a TA website & find an available cabin in the category you want to book...then enter that cabin # on the Royal website & it will then show other cabins available in that category...Royal pain in the tush!!
