  1. I also did a mock booking for Bermuda and Spain Trans Atlantic  Ascent, ( April 2025) and my only option was 8:30....I want any time dining.  Deal breaker for us, not to book it.Is it a glitch? thanks

    That's surprising, as I've found decent perks for all of our cruises booked with them. In addition to the annual 2% cash back, the gift card or OBC for our last three bookings have been $925, $215. and $975. That works out to 10.00%, 7.73% and 10.75% of the booking prices. We've received similar amounts/percentages with all of our bookings. Maybe we've just been lucky with the cruises we've chosen, as we've never based our selection on the available perks.

    Totally agree, I book with them too, and they work directly with Hal. Easy peasy to book Club Orange. We also enjoy the 2% back in a gift card.

    Compensation for the services TA's provide is kind of complicated IMO.  Breaking down the OP's original post:

    Service fees include: booking domestic - international air $50-$100.00 pp;

    As CDNPolar mentions, I also do not think TA's get a commission for booking domestic flights (save for business class possibly??).  So if they help you book a flight, they won't earn anything from the effort unless you book something additional that does provide them with a commission.

    changes to booking - $25.00 pp for hotels, transfers, shore excursions, etc.  File cancellations are $100 pp

    Again, I do not think TA's get compensated for any work they do beyond the base booking commissions such as changes and cancellations.

    One perspective is that you kind of hope that everything can be baked in and averages out in the end.  I suppose the other perspective is that there's no free lunch and TA's should be compensated for specific asks.  I don't know what the right answer is.

    🇨🇦 We had this happen with our south Pacific cruise, I  was never charged before , so it never crossed   my mind  to ask.... she did not offer this info till we got the bill..... we were charged and I never went back.

    I purchased a HAL insulated coffee cup years ago and take it with me every cruise and the Explorations Cafe staff have not had a problem filling it with my coffee order.  I even used it on Celebrity, who had no issues filling it, despite it being from HAL.

    😎us too, I can't believe how good these Hal insulated cups are, coffee is still very hot , hours after.

    I'm a big person, although I wouldn't say huge, and the normal robes fit fine.  This thread talks about requesting XXL robes from your cabin stewards, but I have never done this myself:

    Yes , just ask  your cabin steward, they will get one from the spa 3xl.

    When doing a mock booking for the 11-Day Canada & New England Circle: Acadia & Newfoundland on the Volendam, when We get to the choose a cabin, we get a mostly blank page that does not have the available cabin map or the pull down menu. A screenshot is attached.

    It happens no matter what I choose. I can do cabin selection on other cruises, just not this one.

    Holland Chat just blew me off. Could somebody duplicate the issue? If somebody finds a way to do the cabin selection, post how you did it.

    Thanks.

    Hi, I am looking at the same cruise(July)  and get the same response.

  9. We booked Club Orange and booked 6144, any comments on this cabin? First time on the  Rotterdam & CO for us. Thanks for all the tips on CO & AARP.  I ended up with  mid ship 6144 and CO, 200 AARP OBC and the total cost was less than my original plan of deck 7 balcony. so thanks to all😎
