  1. Shoudn't they check when you book your cruise instead of before you get to boarding if you are not vaccinated?
  2. So I think after Royal C decided to cruise from Fl.many others will follow.
  3. The vaccine is not 100%.I would be surprised if someone wanted to cruise bad enough to provide a false document .MSC does not require a vaccination.
  4. Agree, some seem to think they will be immune from other illnesses. There has always been a risk with foreign travel & cruises & always will be.
  5. Interesting. The vaccine I had a problem with was Tetanus, went unconscious, was hospitalized ,recovered was told never to get it again. When my son was born we started vaccines & when he had a bad reaction to a dpt shot they determined it was the Tetanus he was allergic to & he never had another. So I might only be allergic to Tetanus vaccine but I don't want to sail bad enough to get a corvid vaccine. Guess Vegas will be getting my money
  6. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a person who is vaccinated against COVID-19 can still be infected with or “carry” the virus that causes COVID-19 while not feeling sick or having symptoms. Experts call this “asymptomatic infection.”Mar 5, 2021

  8. I have had Covid ,I was not hospitalized. It was not as bad as the influenza A that I contracted on a cruise last Feb.2020.So it is possible you may not get covid but the flu.
  9. How can you be sure while you are off the ship you won't be infected by someone?
  10. Feb.2020 I got influenza A on my cruise & stayed in cabin 4 days I was so ill I had to go straight to emergency room in FT.Lauderdale.I have had covid & it was not as bad as the flu.So you could easily get the flu or something else on board.
  11. I'm wondering if I will be able to cruise again. I had severe reaction to a vaccine before & can't get a covid vaccine. I suppose the cruise lines can do what they want, but hoping all won't have same policy. No vaccine is 100% effective. I'm sure I can't be the only person with severe allergy as some people have already died from allergic reactions.
  12. Any ill effects from vaccine? My husband will be getting his in a couple of months, unfortunately I had a serious reaction to a previous vaccine so will not be able to get it.
  13. I'm wondering first I heard very allergic people like me should not get vaccine now suddenly it's ok .Well I was in the hospital in June from allergic reaction then was terrified I would get covid, took 3 months to be well again.Hopefully I will be able to cruise again.
  14. Life is risky & unpredictable ,who knows what disasters might be occurring in 2022.
  15. I am ready to cruise again even though I'm a little apprehensive. Last Feb. I contracted influenza A on board Princess. I have cruised for 23 years & never been sick on a ship before & also never saw so many sick people. I was not aware of covid-19 at the time. However, life is short & I'm ready to roll the dice how about you?
