On Eurodam June 16, dock at Stadsgarden @ 0800. It appears that the HOHO boat would serve our DIY needs best. After looking at the map & reading previous posts I still have some questions.

Have read that in the early morning, they will run directly to the Vasa without making other stops. True? If so what is start time? Since Vasa opens @ 0830 early boats would be an advantage.

Also considering a Stockholm card ~$77pp vs individual museum prices. Does the Stockholm card cover the HOHO boat?

Nicole's itinerary above looks great to us. Schwerin then Wismar. A full day.

I will let you know if we want a guide in Schwerin.

On Eurodam on a Tuesday and having trouble deciding between Schwerin, Stralsund and Wismar.

What we want is relatively quiet medeival town after all the big ciities with some shopping for local goods.

I've looked at Tripadvisor and Anni's site as well as the websites for the towns but still no breakthrough. Tripadvisor has more things to do on Stralsund & Schwerin than Wismar.

I see Schwerin has a giuded walking tour at 11:00, not sure if in English. i sent email asking.

Thanks for any suggestions?

When I booked I requested Tex or Lionel based on reviews here. When I arrived Lionel was unavailable so got Juan Carlos. Great day & Bianca, Victor's daughter guided us at the house.

Juan Carlos was great -personality, knowledge, language & did all we asked for & more. I highly recommend him.

BTW Victor has 28 guides according to JC.
