  1. How do you think October is relastitc? I hope you are right as I have a cruise scheduled on the Horizon for NYE but Arnold Donald has publically stated multiple times that they will NOT resume cruising until social distancing is no longer a thing. I look forward to your reasoning.
  2. You should consider yourself blessed that you were not quarantined at sea. BRAVO! You got a nice vacation! You want a cookie? Now, how many people were killed as a result of this? How many people were carrying COVID-19 on the ship, passed it onto potentially 4K other people, who passed it along to someone else when the ship returned to port? You see where I am going with this? You were in a petri dish and germs were being passed along to thousands of people who in turn passed it along to thousands of others. You are very selfish if you want to continue cruising while this pandemic takes place. Because of your selfishness, I really do hope you go cruising in May or June and I hope you book an inside cabin and get quarantined at sea so you and anyone else on that ship dont infect anyone else on land with your reckless actions. SHame on you. You should know better.
  3. wow! You realize how the circulation works on a cruise ship? It’s not like an airplane, it’s a straight up Petri dish! When the ship get quarantined at sea send us some photos from inside your cabin when you are quarantined!
  4. Sorry if they don’t have enough brain cells to realize they shouldn’t be getting on a cruise ship in mid may or June then they get what they deserve. I feel bad for the people in early March who got stuck because they didn’t really know the risks, but if you get stuck in mid may or early June I stand by my earlier statement. They have been warned and they assumed the risk.
  5. Yes. Many have cancelled their May and June Sailings. Some have cancelled their sailings for the rest of this year. https://www.cruisecritic.com/news/5016/
  6. Carnival is doing a PR stunt and talking a bunch of nonsense. The cruise industry is going to take a huge brutal beating for the rest of this year. I have a cruise that I am waiting to get cancelled that departs on May 24th. There is no way I am putting myself on that petri dish and I am sure the vast majority of people booked on that cruise would also not subject themselves to being put on that petri dish as well. Its a joke that they haven't already cancelled their may and June cruises. It makes me loose a lot of respect for them as a corporation that they would consider putting their guests and their staff in danger by even pondering starting cruising again in May or June. Makes me wonder if they are so reckless with wanting to start sailing again in May or June, what other safety aspects of their ship do they neglect behind the scenes?
  7. Reread my post please. I said for 3 months not for 30 days.
  8. Have you seen what is happening in italy? Google it and take a look and see what’s happening and then report back. senior social clubs are closed.
  9. carnival needs to expand their cancellation policy and allow anyone to cancel for a full refund that has a cruise scheduled in the next 3 months. It is the right thing to do.
  10. waiting for official governors release

  12. The governor of Maryland just declared a state of emergency and closed the port of baltimore effectively immediately for all outgoing cruises.
