Yes. You can get one day at a time if you want, but I believe it is cheaper if you buy it for the entire cruise.

Your PVP should be able to link the two if they aren't already.  I don't know if there is a way that you can check for that on your own, but I know my PVP links cruises for us when we cruise with friends or family.

We leave on the Carnival Breeze in just over a month and I'm excited!  I have a couple of questions for those who have been on this ship recently - 

 

1 - do you know if the self service launderette takes S&S card  - or does it take quarters?

DW and bought the spa package for just a couple of days back in December on the Breeze.  The days that we bought it had rough seas.  This made the thalassotherapy pool almost unusable due to the amount of rocking the ship was doing.  I'm sure that it would be much better on calm seas.  It was a very relaxing area, but I don't know if I would buy the package for the entire cruise.

If you bookings are linked, then you will both be Gold from day one of the first cruise.  We turned platinum on the second leg of a B2B, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that we were platinum when we got on the first leg.  If you call the 800 number on the carnival page, they can link your cruises, or your TA should be able to do it if you have one.

My wife and I will be on this sailing with you.  We have done a mini suite with obstructed view before, and the cabin is nice, but defiantly obstructed.  The cabin should have a cabinet with a wide selection of glasses to choose from.  Not sure if there were champagne glasses or not.  You could always get them from the atrium bar.

Your time dining does not have reservations, but you can ask for a 2 top table when you check in each night.

You should each have separate boarding passes, so you will both be able to check in independently.  Pick an earlier time if your friend may arrive before you, and they will be able to check in before you arrive.  You will be able to check in anytime after that time if you arrive later.

I would be nervous with arriving at 11:45 especially if you have checked baggage, but I know people do this all the time.  Travel time from TPA won't be too bad on a Thursday afternoon.

Just got off of the Liberty yesterday, and had this feature in our inside cabin 1041. I thought it was great to have the USB ports available. I posted a picture in a couple of Facebook groups, and it seems that Carnival is putting them in during dry dock, and as they need to be replaced.

Thanks for the info! We will be sailing on the Breeze in December. While you may miss the Breeze, I hope you will enjoy the Vista as much as we did.

We sailed on the Legend when it was previously in Tampa, and have the 25 Jan 2020, partial Panama Canal cruise booked. Looking forward to it. I would love to do the full Panama Canal transit, but can't take that much time off.

We sailed in V42 once, and yes the obstruction is significant. Life boats are just off of the balcony. I wouldn't say there's much more cabin space. It's not much larger than a standard cabin, just more polished.
