The first time we went to Aruba we did not like it.A good friend of mine from HS was born there and goes back frequently with her family told me to try again .We listened to her and loved Aruba.We have been there several times.I hope you will enjoy the island as much as we do.

Debbie who joined us here last night is one of the nicest people that I have ever posted with on CC.I am so happy that she came here and hope that she becomes a regular .

I have been on 3 cruises with Arzeena and her husband.Marietta and Charlie were on the last cruise I was on but unfortunately we did not get to meet.A guy named John to posted on here in 2020 but then proofed was on a cruise that I was on a few years ago and a woman named Evie who also posted on here once in 2020 was on several cruises that I was on.

Currently I feel like I am in prison because I cannot leave my house without help,I have not crossed a street on my own since May 2016.My last cruise was in 2019.Toby begged me to cancel because she believed that I would not be able to function and she was right.In 2018 we met and became friendly with two couples who were friends.One couple who lived in MD and the other in PA.They were planning the 2019 cruise and asked us to join them.I really wanted to go and we did.The only time I was okay was at dinner.Another couple from PA joined us .This couple became really good friends with us but I spent nearly all of the cruise in my cabin

Mrs.H and I both went to Nelly Bly Park in Bensonhurst.A friend of mine went to the same HS as she but not in the same years.You and I discussed that I went to Warm Beer,Lousy Food AKA Crazy Country Club.I had friends living in Bay Ridge and Bensonhurst and I hung out there .I can’t recall the clubs I went to in Bay Ridge. As you know I have my Staten Island connections with you,Marietta and Bonnie and my Manhattan connections with Bonnie.

Yes,it will.Currently I am in bed 21 hours a day.Having this will allow me to get out of the house .My only outings now are to go to doctors,hospitals and for haircuts.

We have cruised since 1973 and the only month we never cruised in was April.The majority of our cruises were from October to January.

That is why I always say that this is the best thread on the Internet.In 1999 I was posting on a nostalgia message board.A NYC magazine decided to do a story on the board because it was something brand new,.The owner of the boards suggested that they interview the two people who post the most to find out why they enjoy posting so much .One was me.I said that I love conversation .

I hope so to .It is supposed to guarantee no falls.I have had 36 and lately I have been falling backwards.That is really scary.

I don’t know where she worked .Her late husband grew up in an area that I also hung out in .I hope that I can get the chair /Walker .If I cannot I have another option .A friend of mine who does not have Parkinsons but has Spinal Stenosis which I also have and he got a Walker which has helped him greatly.There is only one supplier in LI that has them in stock.I called them and explained my situation and the Manager told me that right now they have several in the store and he will hold one for 30 days .

I mentioned her to you awhile ago .She is a very nice woman.Even though she is younger than me we both hung out at some of the same places in Brooklyn but not at the same time.

I want to share some good news.My Parkinsons Therapist told me that there is something that he believes would be very helpful to me .It is a combination Wheelchair and Walker,It is manufactured solely for people who have Parkinson’s Disease.I told him that I would be interested in getting one.He sent in an application to the manufacturer.My doctors told me they will gladly send in the required paperwork.If I am able to get one I would have to go through a trainining period as it has all kinds of electronic gadgets .My Therapist said he would bring it to my house and work with me until I am able to maneuver it on my own. I should know by the end of May or early June.

I invited a woman who posts on CC ,mainly in the Floataway Lounge to join us here I have been posting to her for a few years.She is very nice and lives in the same area of NY as Marietta.Her screen name is Mrs.H. Hopefully she will come.I told her that everyone who posts here is very nice..

I use a pillow in between my knees every night,an ordinary pillow .It helps.

My younger daughter and her fiancée were planning a destination wedding in the Caribbean. They were on a cruise that had a stop in St.Kitts and took a ferry to Nevus.They found a beautiful place and planned to have the wedding there but on the spur of the moment got married on that day. He called his mother but she waited till they got hone from the cruise to tell us

When I worked in Manhattan they would come to the Union Square Farmers Market every Wednesday to sell baked goods.I bought one and it was delicious.I came back every week to buy the same type of cake. The last time I was in the market was 1996. When I moved to LI I discovered that there was a Farmers Market near a Long Island Railroad Station and the same group of Amish people were there .I told them about seeing them in Manhattan years before .They told me that they go to Farmers Markets all over NY every day.
