We have been on many Royal cruises and have done a few Princess, recently the Regal which is a sister ship to Royal. It was amazing! Loved everything about it. Way less kids as expected but food, service, etc was outstanding. Ship was gorgeous, hubby thought the Horizon Court Buffet was absolutely spot on.

 

As far as comparing to Royal Caribbean, based on size I would say the Voyager Class, but I can tell you I cannot believe you would not love it. We are going on Princess again in Dec and have FCC with Princess to book another one. Love it just as much as Royal

As a regular Royal Caribbean cruiser, I totally agree with your statement. Have been twice on the Regal and just booked the Royal Princess last week for November. I have been on both the Caribbean and Ruby but don't care for those class of ships. In the future I will only go on their newest ships. But give it a try, you will love it.

It can be passed by sex, blood transfusion and mosquitoes getting infected by biting an infecting person and spreading it further

yes, I know,but i was referring that if someone gets infected in the Caribbean and this person goes back to the States and will infect another person unless they have sex or are getting a blood transfusion. I got Zika myself, and in 2 days I was ok again, and after 1 week I was complete recovered. So basically not worse than a common cold.

Hope yall are not taking zika back to the US and spreading it

No evident yet that Zika is contagious..

There are certain mosquitos (flies) that carries the virus which can give you Zika. Living here in the Caribbean, I think it's all overrated.

I haven't been on the Crown, but on both Caribbean & Ruby and twice on the Regal. Regal wins hands down. I didn't care for the other class of ships. If i cruise on Princess it's the Royal Class or whatever new they will have in the future. As a matter of fact I just booked Royal yesterday for November.

They are going to get a huge chunk of that (Bahamas) cake with Mariner doing the 3/4 days runs out of Miami.

The suspect is a local bailiff!

I never use the free laundry, i prefer to wash them myself in the pay washing machine and hang them up in the cabin, so it's almost wrinkle free.

No more Key West out of Miami on the 4-nighters with Mariner replacing Enchantment.

2 RCI ships in Galveston? Liberty already has some of the lowest rates - is she moving?

Most probably the onboard spendings compensate the lower fares.

Very smart move if Royal Puts Mariner on the 3-4 days Bahamas runs.

A bit off topic, but i didn't want to start a new thread. Unfortunately they found the body of the missing crew yesterday in Bonaire. Thanks to cameras installed, they could identify a man who was with this lady and after he was taken into custody, he told authorities were he buried the body.

I know Adventure will be sailing from Bayonne in Summer 2018, but I don't know the exact start date.

First cruise out of Bayonne is on May 25 to the Bahamas.

Believe it or not, I haven't been in years to a MDR. Just don't like to dress up for dinner, and the food is always good to excellent up there.(Princess, HAL and RC)

I just came back from the Anthem last month, and the WJ for dinner on this ship is excellent. RC is stepping up their game, because it was also very good on the Allure last week.

Might be true, but in that case she needs to make the TA Eastbound to get to the UK!

Last week on the Allure I paid $50.45 ($40 discount) for 24/7 internet for 7 days. As a D+ member you get twice 24h of internet, so if 2 of you are D+ you won't need to buy the package, because you can use internet the other 3 days while in port.

Having been twice on Regal, I used to say that their buffet was way better than windjammer. But after my 2 recent cruises on the Anthem & Allure, I must say that Royal Caribbean is stepping up their game big time in their food division. Both Anthem and Allure had very good choices in the Windjammer. Both in quality and tastiness.

Where you can you book this?

I'm not trying to be rude, but I don't see why you should get anything. You bought a cruise and you were comfortable with the price, so now that the price has gone down-in order for them to fill the ship- why would you expect to get anything? It's the same thing if you buy an airline ticket!

It's a 10 min walk max.

Since I don't really care in what type of cabin i stay on a cruise, everything less than $50 p/d I consider a good deal.

Just read that the Joy will have a two level racetrack!
