I am told the $120 party on Explorer of the Seas did not get the numbers and was cancelled.

It does not surprise me at all!

We were on the Freedom in Oct hanging out at the Alchemy bar & overheard the bartender say the Alchemy bar wont be added when The Magic goes to dry dock. It will be added April 18 & 19 while repositioning to Florida. I would think it would be better to do it during the 3 week dry dock then in 2 day. I hope the info isn't true because we will be on the Magic March 27 & would love an Alchemy Bar but the source was the head Alchemy bartender.

Most probably it will be done during the 2 week dry dock.

Have those lounges reopened since they closed due to the construction of the emissions systems? I know the fire delayed the installation quit a bit. Last May when I was on those two overflow lounges were both closed and they were using them as a construction office, which pushed everyone into the Diamond Lounge and it was packed.

 

It is nice when they do use them as an overflow as it is generally not nearly as crowded in them.

I saw the Freedom in St.Maarten last month and still (part of ) the damage has not been repaired. The Anchor is also still missing.

The food is cooked over charcoal , Not how BBQ is done here in The south .

Why doesnt Jewel have a DL, if all the other Radiance ships do?

Will get a DL early next year when she goes to dry dock.

I plan to try it on my cruise in a couple of weeks and I'm solo.

I never took carnival cruise before but I know people that did and always talk about the Valor,I have 29 cruises with royal I want to try a different cruise line,I hope carnival has a Latin trio I love salsa.

Just came off the Regal Princess Sunday and we had more or less the same itinerary, but we had very good seas. Off course a bit of rocking and Rolling but not choppy at all.

Nope. It's the furthest forward inside stateroom on the starboard side.

Just got off the Regal yesterday and had L112 which is basically the same cabin but on the Port Side. Excellent choice I must say!

Were you able to print your boarding passes and luggage tags? Then you completed online check in and do not need to fill out any manual forms. Bon Voyage!

1) Is this something new?

2) Can I still fax it? or what happens if i dont fax. I dant have a fax readily available right now.

Liberty was here in Curacao Today. There were a lot of tourists in town. I think it was her first visit to the island. I know Freedom has been here once in the past in January of 2010.

It's really good. Nothing like that free sushi!

I did the Dream out of NY when she was brand new, and it was a madhouse with 1300 kids onboard. I said never again a Thanksgiving cruise until last year when I did one on the Eurodam and there were only 25 very well behaved kids onboard!

I have the impression that there is a lot of pressure on them to sell. Don't like the one I have right now, but when I'm ready to cruise Carnival I will use an online website where different TA's make you an offer.

Looks like she left today for her first cruise out of Southampton. A 1 day cruise to nowhere, so guess no one has been on her yet.

Captain Marek Slaby of the Vision will come the first day of the cruise to introduce himself.

I was looking at Magic's Lido Deck and looks like what John is saying makes sense. Looks like Pizzeria has to make place for Blue Iguana Cantina, and Deli has to make place for Pizzeria. Guy's Burger will replace Grille and my educated guess is that Deli will be incorporated somewhere in Lido Market Place. Beach Bar on the starboard side will become Red Frog's Rum Bar & the one on the port side Blue Iguana Tequila Bar. Lots of changes but they are all on the Lido deck.
