We are on the late October version of that cruise and are on the port side -- not by choice but works for us as we go south to Gibraltar and then east and north-ish to Rome. Need to look at detailed maps of journey.

I have the same question. I also wonder how check-in occurs with two people on one account.

Are we at the point yet when we can scan in vaccine cards?

Our cruise on the Island Princess Oct 19 Southampton to Rome was cancelled by Princess. I have been reading the UK newspapers and find it all unclear for folks traveling from the US to the UK; the rules appear to change rapidly and are written in terms for UK residents. There will be a "Freedom Day" announcement for July 19 that is causing concern for some and joy for others. 

The rules within the EU are also ever changing by country. 

While I really want to see my UK family it is a relief not to be stressed by traveling there this year. Hopefully they have their act together for 2022 and we are still fit enough to enjoy it. 

Phone Princess! They are the only ones who can help and reassure.

We do that --one each. 

I am really looking forward to Dine My Way. Hoping I book a table for 2 and actually get one! I have always regarded the perks as gifts and not something I've earned. We always book for itinerary and will never reach elite.

Island Princess. Southampton to Rome No reason why but assume it's due to the uncertainties of Covid. Is the Royal for UK passengers only? At the moment we cannot even get into the UK, even with two jobs, without quarantine. We have been transferred to next years cruise. 

My October 19 cruise to the med from Southampton has been cancelled. 

I've booked a small bus Sausalito and Muir Woods excursion through Princess for our California Coastal this October. Still pondering about the rest. 

We primarily cruise to visit the ports and did not enjoy the sea days on the return journey. Our days in Hawaii were amazing and we met some fabulous people. To each his own 😀

I'm wondering if they will re-issue a deck plan with updated locations. I much prefer the printed ones but have a feeling they will disappear in the quest to go digital.

It's a simple adapter not an extension set up

Just booked the Majestic, on a whim, for October 23 as our UK-Med cruise is cancelled. Have a guaranteed deluxe balcony cabin -- another first for me. It will be an adventure!

We had this cabin booked for October 2021 and sadly it is cancelled. It looks as though PR727 is the only similar cabin available for October 2022; from your experience I'm not sure I want that. Did you get any explanations re the pipe sounds and sewage smells.

You may want them for whale watching. Always take our when we cruise.

Our Oct 19, 2021 from Southampton is still scheduled but holding my breath about the chance of sailing.

You should be able to contact any of the consultants and get your questions answered. Just phone Princess and ask your questions.

My question is: since those "on our own costs" are not part of the "Princess trip", can we get additional coverage through Princess (actually their affiliate)? I am curious if anyone has done something like that. What was your experience? Or did you get a supplement rider from another insurance carrier for that "non-Princess" portion of your trip?

I looked into this a few years ago and was not able to add additional days. We ended up using independent insurance for the entire trip.

I'm not sure. We had the same data collected . I imagine that the vaccination may fall under HEPA laws.

We were told there would be no other record than that on the CDC card. It was suggested that we make a copy to carry and keep the original with our passports.
