  1. You attendant has seen it all. Once we were on a 7 day with my 1 yo. I was pregnant and one nigh got was violently ill, there wasn't any rough seas it was the pregnancy. Our cabin steward was amazing she must have known some how and came right to my room and striped the sheets that I messed and got me trash cans etc. simply wonderful, I couldn't get out of the bed to get to the bathroom to vomit there, I felt horrible that she had to help us but she said no problem and was great about it,

  2. Thanks! from videos online it looks like they all have those costume hands. I might bring the mat board and just have random ppl sign it with character names when the kids aren't with me and then on the last night have it magically show back up completed in our room....I mean it's not likeFiona is really Fiona...she's an actor in a costume.

Like saying day I do walk up to silk but my assignment is anytime at icon will they see that and tell me to go to icon or will theyseat me at silk? I know the menus are the same but if we want a change in decor for the night?

  4. So last time I took my daughter and she loved the AO, always wanted to be there but then the day we docked in Bermuda (our only stop) she was like oh heck no I'm getting off with you, I think she just wanted to walk on dry land lol. So for 2 days she toured Bermuda with me then when we left port I sent her back on her way to the kids club. She wanted to be there more than with me in"the stuffy long dinners" which was fine, she picked what she wanted to do on the vacation and it just happened that being with the other kids and teachers won out-it was win win. I picked

Her up at 10 each night and we hit the dance party for an hour or so then off to bed. She was 4 at the time. Now she is almost 7 and telling her 5 yo brother how much he will love AO too!! Planning to leave them at AO on one port day and not leave the ship but enjoy the hopefully quiet ship while everyone is off it :) I think on sea days the AO is also open 5-7 and they take the kids to dinner then at 6 but you have to sign up and drop off at 5.

  5. Ok I just went on the cruise planner and it let me pick 8:30 (time we wanted) for MTD it listed to pick a date from the sailing so I did day 1 do I go back in and do all the days separate or does it populate all the dates for me? Also will they just assign me either American icon or silk when I get on the ship then? Will they really both have the same meals just different decor? No more Asian in silk?? In laws are traveling with us and like the look of silk but would never eat Asian food lol

  6. Ok one more question, bc I booked my cruise last week and the agent said there is either traditional where you pick 6:30 or 8:30 (I think was the times) and then when you board they tell you which rotation of dining rooms you

Have for the week-getting all 4 but keeping same table number and wait staff that follow you through the week. OR you pick My time where you just go to the restaurant you want when you want and you

Might have to wait for a table but you get to pick where and when to go. Also I saw online the left side of the menu for each restaurant was the same all week, but the right side was different example silk has Asian food and chic totally different...please help. When I go to the cruise

Planner it doesn't let me pick a restaurant or time besides coastal kitchen and solarium bistro for dinner (1st time in an OS)

  7. Do the characters sign autographs? While walking around or at the paid breakfast? My kids love getting autographs and our favorite is the frame we had Disney characters sign and then when we got home put a family picture from the trip in.

Also is there a complied list someplace if which characters are on Anthem this March?

  8. I have a question. We just booked OS for 3/19 sailing. Almost everything with good times is already taken online. I booked the shows just to have them in place but they are not my ideal times/days. Will Ricardo be able to change them if I email him after he sends me the welcome email? Also we know we want to do Chops on husband's birthday for dinner, we have a complimentary upcharge meal from travel agency but when I book online it charges me -also this will be for a a 5 year old, 6 year old and 2 in laws that are not in our room but also have the free upcharge meal. So should I wait to book and just add that to my email too? We are toying with eating

One night at Wonderland just the 2 of us, for my birthday. (Yep 2 birthdays AND our 10 year wedding anniversary all while onboard!) anyway, with 2 little kids we don't want to book wonderland until the day of incase the kids refuse

the kids club. Do you think we will have a problem booking when already on board? Sorry so long.

  9. Yup ice show is by muster station if you want to see it again or at a different time you wait in a line and they will let you in right before the show if there is space. We saw the show two times my DD loved it!

In Bermuda you can do everything on your own. This was our second time there. We took a ferry to st George and on the ferry they had a lady announce that she does a walking tour of st George 1 1/2 hrs for $40 ppl and $20 for kids so we talked to her and I decided to do it with DD so first I ate lunch then met her in town hall and off we went. Amazing tour super nice lady knew a lot about the town and knew everyone we passed! Then we got the ferry back to dockyard and walked around. Day two we walked to snorkel park beach $5 to get in, it's not the best beach but I wanted to stay close to ship and we have done horseshoe last year which I strongly suggest for a first timer. Then we ride the free trolly and shopped till we dropped;)

  10. We were given the option CL or 19th each night and each night Dplus got option CL or cloud nine. There was almost no one in all 3 locations each time I went in. There were 2/3 bartenders in 19th and CL each night and apps everywhere.

    19yh hole was very nice.

My DD went to chamber on first day during the day so I could look in but it was dark and she was scared. No one was there bc it was in the afternoon. There is a sign at the door that says at 10pm it's adult only. One night they have a family dance party in chamber but we were budy

  11. Because there was a problem with the forward elevators the concierge walked everyone to the aft where there were elevators held for us and other staff in them like a bellman to get us to floor one. Denzil stayed on dec but there were other crew very ready to help. I did not se the rudeness that other threads are talking about, it was most likely stressful fir the crew with a big rain and an alpha cal right at disembark!

  12. I was invited to suite events. First day was a welcome cocktail in the 19th hole where all the officers came to the tables to greet you and this was my first encounter with Denzil. Then you could go to concierge lounge or 19th hole each night 5-8 for free cocktails and apps so we always went to 19th hole. On the second to last night we were invited to the windjammer for dinner with the officers this was a very nice buffet, surf and turf with waited drinks.

  13. Silent disco was in The Chamber I didn't make it to it but it was on the compass.

Adventure ocean staff was the best I gave ever seen, I had my 4 year old with me and she has never wanted to stay in the kids clubs even though she goes to preschool normally. I could not bribe her to leave the club on this trip! She was in aquanauts 3-5 year olds, she met a brother/sister combo that became her best friends. On seas days she was there 9-12 then would go back at 5 and have dinner in buffet with the teachers then stay until the 10pm pick up time. You can actually leave them 10pm-2am for $7 an hour but she was ready for bed by 11 (at home bed is by 8)

  14. Denzil was the concierge and he was amazing, I never had that experience before and was Leary about what to expect, well he was wonderful (and easy on the eyes too).

My mom ordered a club soda with a lime in MDR and the lime never came. I ordered a line infused drink in 19th hole during a suite event and got 4 slices in my drink, then next night ordered a strawberry daiquiri at suite event and got a lime garnish. We took photos of the limes bc we knew it was rare to see limes on the ship:)
