  1. I often wonder what do people request from a Genie? I've only done sky class so far and have never had a request the concierge didn't fill for me without hesitation. I didn't ask him to book excursions, but he seemed to love my little one and go above and beyond to find us and make things special for her. I don't even know what I would ask a Genie to do?

  2. Last week I was able to book coastal kitchen for my 3/19 OS Anthem sailing. I only booked 2 nights as we didn't know all our plans yet. So today I went into the cruise planner to book more nights and CK is not showing up as an option at all...it shows the 2 CK reservations I already have but doesn't give me an option to modify them only cancel. Any ideas?

  3. Sas21 the transfer after sleep method might be our best bet! Will just have to stop worrying until we get on the ship and access the bed/sofa bed comfort. This is a worry for me every vacation we take, last time we put jingle bells on the condo door but honestly I'm such a sound sleeper I can't say I would have heard it. In Disney they have this flat metal that flips at the top of the door so if they retro open it it will only open a few inches. The doors are very heavy in Disney and my 5 yo son opens them with ease it is very scary!

  4. We will be on Anthem cabin 12238 and I'm wondering, it looks like the balcony only opens from the living room area and the master bedroom has glass but not a door/slider to the balcony?

We are 2 adults and 2 young children. I'm thinking of having us sleep on the sofa pullout bed and asking to have the master bed split into 2 twin beds, this way I won't worry all night with the young kids so close to the hall door and balcony access. Also this will allow husband to come in late or leave early for the gym without waking the kids up.

    Would this work?

  5. To be 100% sure

If you select a set time dining of 6:30 or 8:30, you will be assigned either Chic or Grand

For My Time, it's American Icon or Silk?

I don't like this at all. Even with the different menus, eating in the same place every night sounds boring. We had My time on Anthem last year and thought it worked great.

Yes from what I read on here that is how it works now. I was pretty upset about it and also I have my time dining, you can go onto the cruise planner and reserve your dining time each night all I could get was 830! We would really love a 715 time so we'll just try each night at the podium and see what happens. We booked this cruise very late last week actually and I understand that's why there's nothing available on cruise planner anymore no Northstar no good showtimes no good meal times.

  6. Bermuda! Don't know where you are but Bermuda was a great place to take our 1 and 3 year old on a cruise. Unless things have changed there is a tram that runs along the dockyard-great to see some sights while baby takes a nap or "looks" too. We took a bus with our stroller and 2 kids to Hamilton to the aquarium. On the way back to port we got on at a bus terminal instead of the bus regular cruise

People take I guess...it was FILLLED with locals, well my baby needed a bottle and Hubby fell asleep with my 3 yo so I was stuck with a crying baby, stroller bags etc with a snoring husband lol. Don't you know; a local woman just took my baby boy from me and said you get the bottle together; and then she fed him! Omg it was like she was an angel! I never felt in danger or like someone was going to take my baby etc. everyone in Bermuda that we met on that trip and trips after have been nothing but welcoming.

  7. Hope it's ok to add a question about drinks here. Does every adult in the cabin have to buy the drink package? I love frozen drinks buy the pool and Starbucks (I think that might not be included??) but my husband doesn't drink. Years ago we both

Had to buy the package. Also, our

Last 2 days are sea days, if I wait until then to buy the package am I just Charged for the 2 days or full ant?
