We have never purchased HAL excursions, but we have pre-purchased 2 excursions for an upcoming cruise. My question is this.. I do not know if excursions costs count towards mariner credits, but if they do, can I, once on board, ask them to apply the purchase of these and /or other pre-purchased item costs to my mariner account? We will be disembarking one ship and boarding another (same cruise line, same day) in SanDiego. How close will the ships piers be? Will we use the same cruise terminal for both? Just wondering how far we will have to schlep our luggage. Thanks

Believe it or not we have never flown out on the same day as disembarkation. Disembarking on a Saturday in FLL, with 6 ships in port, what is the earliest time advised to safely book a flight . Also, I always book my own, but in this case are we better off if HAL books the flight? Thanks

Hello, We will be disembarking a in Fort Lauderdale . We are not familiar with this port. In your experience what is the earliest time to book a flight home on that same day...we have never gone from ship to airport before. thanks

It is my understanding that once. You are on board you can use your OBC but not before the sailing date.

Its been several years since I did this but they did grant the reduction after final payment on one of my HAL cruises...must have been around 2015, so not sure of current possibilities. Never hurts to ask! Good luck!

We are currently booked on a 2023 HAL cruise RT out of San Diego. Upon disembarkation, on the same date, we want to embark on a different HAL ship for a panama canal full transit. We have not yet booked the second cruise because currently the logistics of getting the required Covid testing for the PC cruise is problematic. My TA contacted HAL and testing on board for this purpose is not an option (currently). I am hoping that the testing requirements changes , but in the meantime we will have to look at flexible air flight pricing. Has anyone ever done something like this and found another way to test while still on the ship?

Question regarding pricing of gifts and indulgences: I am looking at the pricing of different items for our upcoming cruise. In general, will the pricing be the same as offered on my booking if I wait to purchase on board , ie internet, wine packages, etc? Also, I wish to purchase items using gift cards...if I choose to make pre sail purchases, can I call HAL and use my gift cards for those items or will I have to use a CC? Thank you

We saved $650 on the price of our upcoming cruise by buying the gift cards in advance. That is one airfare. worth it to us.
