On the way from the airport to the port there is a Publix (sp?) on 17th. It's a grocery. There is also a Total Wine in the same mall area (Harbor Shops).

You can also ask your room steward for a corkscrew.
-
You can ask the hostess for which ever you prefer.

I have been by the elevator a few times. Never a problem at all. That would get my vote.
Same for us, our prefered location.
-
Saw the same on the Miracle last January.

Not that was credible Arnold Donald is on record as stating the brands would remain independent including loyalty programs.
Exactly, but would be nice if they changed it.

My OBC is listed under "fees and credits"
So is mine.

Are these available on the Freedom now?
-
We've made 10:45, or so, flights twice now. Longest time spent was getting thru security at the airport. Just self debark-take a cab and check in.Should not be a problem.

I've ordered a few things from Bon Voyage pre-cruise and had to pay upon purchase. Items were waiting in the room when we arrived (unless I requested otherwise).
Same here, have always ordered 1-2 bottles.

And no crowds or traffic. Congrats and enjoy.

Some of the longer cruises are more. Just want you to be prepared. If my memory serves me the 12 day we booked was $400 per person deposit.
Correct, was the same for us.

Thanks for the review. We will be boarding her on 2/2/15 for the 12 day repo cruise. Have been on her twice before, pre 2.0, and are looking forward to sailing her again with the new additions.

One of the reasons you should not book an early flight out of Tampa
Or Galveston.

The hotels that are close to the port (around the 17th St. area) are so close that a taxi cost us $10 and the trip took five minutes.
In fact, the port and the airport are in such close proximity that the ships were visible from inside the terminal and the runways could be seen from the ships.
Very true. Also most hotels no longer offer their shuttle to the port. They have a 3rd party shuttle service that runs about $9.50 pp.

I loved the Serenity on Miracle! It was in the aft, like on Imagination, BUT it has a bar and is much larger. There is something to be said for the double hot tub configuration, though.
Agree, Serenity on Miracle has been the best so far.

I have no idea how long they will be good for, but we just used a bunch on our cruise last week and they were taken without any problems. :)
Thanks for the update.

Looks like its $30 less than what I paid for the base cruise fare. When is it worth it to make a "claim"?
$30 would be worth it to me,especially if it was pp!
FYI we just scored $440 OBC the other day and are still hoping for more.

74 till ours.

There's nothing sneaky about the low price guarantee. It clearly states that it's the "lowest price with cabin assignment." I like to pick my cabin, and I've gotten plenty of price drops keeping the cabin I picked.
Agree, see my previous response.

This is why Carnival's advertised "low price guarantee" associated with booking Early Saver isn't really a guarantee at all. It's just another way that Carnival plays the pricing game to deny price drop requests.
We just received $434.40 on an 8D, Freedom 2/2/15 sailing. Had just paid off the cruise so we received OBC.

It is on the dessert menu. I would order it, and just take it back to my cabin to enjoy with our bottle of wine on the balcony..:o
I agree, this is the best way.

Finally $434.40 OBC on an 8D sailing 2/2/15 on the Freedom. Check your fare.

We were port side and I believe saw more from our balcony than the starboard side passengers.
