Good to know.   The traffic uncertainties is the reason I booked an excursion to the beach.   Been held up before!

Have not been on the Sun but did get cans on other ships

Log onto Princess site.  Go to my account and look under cruise credits.  That will show your eligible promotions.    

Leaving in October.  Already have Plus but when you try and upgrade unable to do so.   May have something to do with availability of special dining.?

We’ve been to Orient several times.  One of our favorite beaches (even did a land vacay after our 1st visit). For next month we booked a Princess excursion there to be safe.   Sometimes traffic is terrible

Have been there a couple of times.  It does get crowded if a lot of ships are in.  You can make reservations prior so you are assured of a good spot for your beach chair.  Staff is good as are food and drinks.  Eagle beach is more expansive though.  

Might be easier to go to guest service when you get on board (not the first day)

Not familiar with Wai but been to Kontiki and coco.   They’re more alike than different.   I prefer staff at coco

I thought Sterling was gone and replaced with a Brazilian steak house.   I prefer Sterling so won’t be booking that

I’ve booked a ship excursion as I was concerned with traffic.   There can sometimes be long delays and wanted to insure we got back on time

Why are you driving?   I would never drive in Fort Lauderdale.   Traffic is terrible and drivers worse.  

Think RIU does one but have not heard great things    You really don’t need one.  Take a taxi Eagle beach and rent chair/palapa and order drinks/ food ala carte

Does the cruise line offer any post cruise excursions that then drop you off at airport..?   We’ve done resort for the day but with flight at3:30 don’t know if it’s worth it.  You’d probably have to leave the resort by 1 to get there 2 hours before your flight

Resort for a day.  Lots of options in Fll.  

No formal dress code but don’t think bathing suits allowed.  We went back to ship showered and changed

Sapphire now open for reservations.  Times available every 20 minutes in Vivaldi and savoy restaurants

I got 1 night reserved, then”can not load”.  I’ve never seen such inept IT

They managed to get the new pricing structure up and running on time… but still can’t get dining reservations.  

Maybe hoping passengers will send their laundry out $$$

Maybe my young grandkids should get an IT position with Princess.  The app is terrible and has been since it was implemented. Could not finish my check in until I deleted my credit info and resubmitted
