I am diamond member and find I have cell service in the ports so I use the 1free day towards the end of the cruise on a sea day. My wife buys for the week. I find all I want to know is a stock quote so I get my wife to tell me what the stock price is if I don't have service usually only 1 or 2 days out of 7.

I am going in Sept and got a e mail to reserve 4 shows. I can also log into the rccl web site and reserve one of the 4 shows. The comedy show can be reserved once on the ship, one time. If you go to the comedy club about 30 minutes before the show you can get in the stand by line and get in each night. I have never been turned away. This also work for the ice skating show.

I have not seen a age limit on the rule. I would say go up and read the rules for the zip line. I remember you must have dry clothes, no open toed shoes and other rules I can't remember.

My best and most memorable cruise was a repositioning cruise to Europe out of Ft Lauderdale. This was in late April. I would choose one of the newer ships first with a balcony. Once in Europe you will stop in at least 5 mind blowing cities. Finish up in Rome and spend a couple more days before you fly home. If you do Alaska do it when the salmon are swimming in August. I went in early May and didn't see much due to fog, clouds and Rain. I am coming up on my 33 cruise in Sept. and I go mainly for the ship first and destinations second.

The comedy show reservations can be made once on the ship and I think for only one night during the cruise. If you get to the club about 30 minutes before the show you can stand in the standby line and I have always been let in 5 minutes before the show starts and that goes for the ice show also.

I have been on most Oasis class ship. After reading what everyone has said I will just say light heartedly the best thing this is that CATS won't be playing in the theater. I am also looking forward to the non smoking casino, I think is now on all the Oasis class ships. Really liked the Taste of Royal for a great 5 star lunch offer. I like walking through central park at night and Park cafe easy access so I always book deck 8. Can't wait for Set 2nd to get my 33 cruise done.
