Be sure to try the chicken salad, they will put it on a croissant for you if you would like it that way. Truly yummy!

That was actually an answer from my wife.:) She thinks the bags are pretty, but they fall apart on her quickly.
I have used Vera Bradley bags since she first started selling them, and use them almost exclusively. I wash them once or twice a season, and have never had a problem with one, so find it hard to believe that they have ever fallen apart. Granted, after very long use, the corners will wear, both on the bags and the wallets, but fall apart??? No.

Well, I may be all alone here, but I would give it a try. :)

I really love that you identified the meals, not everyone does that, and you cannot always tell what each one is.

Last time I had it the prawns were very large and very delicious. The lobster however, was totally mushy and inedible.

Thanks- but for$20 more the premium room is unlimited drinks/sodas/waters on your floor (not just during reception) , keurig coffee maker, Wi-Fi included, and snacks included on your floor. sounded ok to me for 20 bucks but would like to hear from someone who stayed on this floor.
Dont all rooms have a coffee maker? I thought they did.

I get those itchy bites on my legs (nowhere else) every time I go to the beach from sand fleas. I sit in one of those low to the ground beachchairs, and of course my legs are in the sand. Drives me crazy for a week.

Im sure most people will be bringing their own toiletries now. Princess will surely save some money there. I for one, will miss the eucalyptus scented lotions, I loved them.

Usually it's ice conditions at Sawyer Glacier. But sometimes weather conditions such as fog or wind prevent ships from even entering Tracy Arm. It's quite narrow in spots. This is how close we got on my cruise. As you can see the OP is quite a bit closer to the glacier than that:

Thank you for the reply Jasperdo! Yes, I guess the OP did get lucky.

I have never been to Alaska. What would be the reason the ships turn around and dont go in, weather, fog? What stops them?

No Alfredos on Ruby, but Prego Pizza on the Lido deck is wonderful. Best pizza I have ever had, and I am from New York.

We always do late Traditional and we always see the parade. Do they do it for early traditional too?
Yes, they do.

We also signed up for this excursion. Was wondering were the beach chairs reserved for just us? And were any with shade or have umbrellas?
Yes to both your questions. Have fun, its a beautiful beach!

We have done it twice, and throughly enjoyed it. The chicken was very good, and we would rather relax and let someone else (who knows how to get there, drive) We all love Orient Beach, the water has been very clean and not too rough when we went. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Hi, I have a friend in Togo with her husband and three children for the next 7 weeks. She is quite concerned since the ebola virus is supposed to be rampant right now in that area. Were you cautioned about anything in connection with this virus from the ship?

If this is a legitimate cruise, I am sure that Princess listed it publicly initially. Why all the hush hush about dates and the name of the ship now? Seems kind of ridiculous, like its a top secret cruise, which I doubt very much.
-
Yes. But don't expect it to look like the IC's on the larger ships. This was an add on and it's squeezed into the casino area. That means that smoke can sometimes be wafting into your food.
Well thats not a good thing!!:eek::eek:

Not very gracious of them eh? The request should be more than sufficient, no explanation necessary. For the Hostess to err is bad enough, for her superior to stand by and allow it is far worse.

I would hope that Princess uses any room service fee to be in lieu of tips. Now that dh has balance problems and I use a walker we have been enjoying having room service deliver tea in our cabin each afternoon. If a pot of water, two cups and two tea bags will possibly have a $3 charge, it will certainly cover any usual tips in my mind.
I think you would be kidding yourself to belive the charge will go to tips for the crew. It will go straight to Princess. I would bet my last nickle on it.

I agree! Although I know others prefer pizza at Alfredo's, IMHO the pizza at Prego Pizzeria is among the best anywhere.
Lew
I agree Lew, 100 per cent!

Can't answer as to Alfredos because it didn't exist when we cruised with our kids who are now in their 30s and 40s, but they ordered room service breakfast and a "getting dressed for dinner" snack every single day of our cruises with them!
Never sailed a ship with Alfredos, looking at the menu I think I would prefer Pregos pizza on deck, but our cabin of three had coffee and a roll from room service EVERY morning, and a sandwich before bed from room service four nights out of seven every cruise.
