  1. What I mean is that nobody in charge in the restaurants was asking people not dressed according to the nights dress code to leave the restaurant or other venues. Very common to see 5% to 10% not adhering to the dress code. It did not bother us in the least and did not detract from the current cruise. We are having a great time
  2. Last night was informal night but jeans are supposed to not be allowed even on casual nights in La Dame and most other restaurants. The family I mentioned are a good looking family speaking English and Portuguese. I saw them on formal night and they not wearing jeans. My point is that people don't always follow the supposed rules and in this regard, I am OK with that. Much ado about nothing.
  3. Also forgot to mention that I second the Salt Bar as really special. When you go, order the Salene drink as it is a show to watch and drink.
  4. I forgot to mention- the fashion police are NOT out in force!!
  5. On the Moon also. First night the Salt Restaurant and just fabulous. Second night Atlantide- perfect. Last night La Dame and again perfect. We had a fabulous bottle of Corton Charlemagne last night(excuse spelling) for $155 and I don't think I can buy that bottle in the states in a wine store for that price. I thought all the prices on the special wine list are a great deal- Dom for $160??? Take two, they are small- haha.
  6. Let me give everybody a dose of reality. We are currently on the Moon. Last night we had dinner in La Dame and at the table next to us, a family of four came in and Father and son both were wearing jeans and not a word was said. The night before was formal and there were more than a few men in jeans and not wearing a tie. One was even in the captain's reception. Do I care, heck no. Do I abide by the dress code, heck yes. People are going to do what they want to do. Time to get over ourselves folks as times are a changing!!
  7. IF the strike happens, this will be a good test of SS Air. I am sure they will come through!! I hope I will not have to eat my words.
  8. I just saw that SAS airlines may likely go on strike 6-29. We are flying SAS Chicago to Copenhagen on 7-2. Is anybody else flying SAS soon? Our tickets are through SS Air, so hopefully, they will be on it!!
  9. In Copenhagen, the company close to our hotel is Copenhagen Medical and you can Google them. The concierge can give you the address. They open at 8AM and no appointment needed. About $20US for the antigen test.
  10. Are you on the Moon? If so, we will be joining you. Our EMeds self test (proctored) are arriving today.
  11. I wonder why SS is changing 2023 Norwegian cruises but not the 2022 cruises? Does SS know something about the Russia situation that we don't know about?
