    Thanks,

that answers the question?  No more luggage tags will be mailed.

This is a change for the worse.  I really liked having multiple tags on my luggage,  on more than one ocassion luggage tags were ripped off, so it is always safer to have two on each bag.  I also like the color luggage tags.   I do not have a color printer, so it will cost me $ plus a trip to Fed ex to get them printed. Not good.

I just spoke to an Azamara rep( was trying to get on the wait list for a sold out excursion, they couldn't help with that) just out of curiosity I inquired about having luggage tags mailed to me.  The rep said if you call and request them they can be sent, she then asked for my address and said they would send them right out.  I know we don't need luggage tags, they can easily tag your bags at the pier, but I also prefer to have the printed colored tags.. The number I called was: 855-292-6272

I want to be able to view my onboard account on the television in my cabin.  Why is this not working on the Pursuit? It worked on the Journey a few months ago.  Why was this not completed when the Pursuit was put into service? Just curious.

I agree, and would like it to work as well.  I have a friend currently on board, who said it’s not currently  available on Pursuit.  Hopefully it will be added but I can’t imagine this happening by March.

Yes, we were able to check our account on Pursuit using the app.  But none of the other features were active yet.

That’s good to hear.  During my November sailing I had to go to guest services often to check my folio as I planned my OBC shopping.  Now if they could just hang that birdcage chair in the Living Room...

So now I have to go to a store and have them take my picture to upload.

Saves money for AZ, but costs me $40 for another passport photo for 2 people?

I am sorry but I do not get it.

    Nanacrusier.

I took a selfie and was able to upload it to the AZ APP.  But if you aren’t able to upload a photo you can easily get your picture taken upon boarding.   Now when I log into the app my photo is there.  The new APP is very encouraging, will be great on board for keeping track of the daily activities.  It indicates that you can check your onboard folio with the APP, a great option as the cabin tv doesn’t allow you to access your folio.

We are currently on the Constellation. Here is what I posted on Facebook earlier:

As I wrote earlier our ship, Celebrity Constellation, had to find safe harbor in La Spezia yesterday due to high winds and rough seas. This meant we missed Portofino and Livorno, our final ports before our return to Rome.

We were supposed to leave for Rome at 3:30 pm today but at 3:00 our ship broke its moorings during a squall and hit the Costa Magica behind us. We were in our cabin on the stern of the ship, but thought that perhaps the ship was leaving early and that the crash was thunder, something we had heard all day. I took a photo during the squall right around the time we became unmoored. You could not see the Magica right behind us through the rain.

Our ship, now unmoored, was floating in the harbor. Tugboats surrounded us and prevented more damage from occuring.

We were waiting to see when we would leave for our trip back to Rome. It wasn't until 10:30 tonight that an announcement was made that we wouldn't sail due to the storm along the coast. Those who wanted to leave could take buses that would arrive later tonight to take the 4 1/2 hour trip to Rome. We are staying on the ship since we don't fly home until Wednesday, plus there is flooding throughout the entire area and staying here seems like a safer option.

This is a rather exciting (almost) end to our vacation!

Glad you are safe.  The video definitely looked like it was very foggy.  Hope there wasn’t too much damage to either ship.

  6. I didn’t see this article on the Celebrity board, if it’s already here please excuse

A Celebrity Cruises' ship hit another cruise ship earlier today after high winds broke the moorings and pushed the ship into another vessel. Celebrity Constellation was moored at the Port of La Spezia when high winds caused the ship to break away from her moorings and hit another cruise ship.  A video posted on Facebook by the cruise page Crucero Fun shows the Celebrity ship hit Costa Magica. The video can be seen below: After the moorings of the cruise ship broke and send the vessel adrift, three tug boats assisted in moving Celebrity Constellation away from the Costa ship.Read More Here: https://cruisefever.net/cruise-ship-hits-another-ship-due-to-high-winds/

  7. On my last three sailing Summit in December, Equinox in January and the Reflection in April I received the canvas bag, but it is not the same one they have been using for years. It doesn't zip closed on top(though I believe there was a small side zipper for safe storage) . I always throw one of my Celebrity bags into my suitcase, perfect for many different trips.

  8. Hello JJ,

First, thank you for the details. I appreciate it very much.

I tried to email Marriott using the email address you provided above (efolioskbrb@marriott.com) but my email was returned due to invalid email address.

Do you happen to have a different email address for them? Perhaps, could you kindly double check the email address that you sent Marriott, please?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi,

I went thru my emails and found a few you can try, maybe that person isn't there anymore. mhrs.skbrb.reservation.mgr@marriott.com or Janice.Laing@marriott.com

I also have a phone number that was toll free: 866-847-1139

Hope one of those works, it's a great day at a great price.

  9. Don’t know if these are the same drinks that are on the Infinity but at that bar the drinks are $12

    https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2574334

    Drink up 🍺🍹🍷🍸🍾🥂🥃🍻

On the Dec 12th Summit sailing they were $13 they increased to $15 on the Dec 23rd sailing. I don't know if the price increased on Infinity as well. The great thing is, this is an extra bar option it takes nothing away from any other bar,( the gelato is still there.) If you don't want to pay the uncharge no need to, just skip this bar....if you are curious it's a small charge to try something different

  10. The Infusion bar is amazing, very much like the World Class bar on the S ships. Hours are 5:30-10:30 PM located on deck 5 in the same area as the Gelateria across from cafe Bacio.

All cocktails are $15, so if you have the premium package it will cost you $2.36 per drink. Completely worth the upcharge. All cocktails are made with fresh ingredients, the bartender prepares all the ingredients daily, As of the Dec 30th sailing there was one Bartender, Filippe excellent bartender, nice guy.

I think there are 9 cocktails, the menu is shown on a tv screen sitting on the bar, no printed menu yet. I'll try to upload some photos.

  11. We love Maggie!!

Also thank you for pointing out Infusion, I read this and we headed right up there before dinner tonight. It was lovely, and the bartender there, Filipe, was a real treat!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So glad you are enjoying the secret bar :cocktail:.

If you remember please tell Filippe than Jen from Florida says hi. Is that bar still mostly unadvertised? I told Filippe I would send my Cruise Critic "friends" on future sailings to see him

  12. Maggie is awesome, Dennis always had my table waiting.

The reason I'm commenting, I wanted to suggest a bar that is very under advertised, It's called Infusion, it's very similar to the World Class bar on S ships, real craft cocktails. It's hidden on deck 5 and is part of the Gelateria across from Cafe Bacio. Open 5:30-10:30, there was one bartender in December Filippe.

Enjoy your cruise and if you see Captain Kate wish her a happy birthday.

  13. Hi,

Did you check directly with Marriott or with an online company that sells day passes? I'm actually there again in a few weeks, I contacted Marriott directly efolioskbrb@marriott.com We were there last month, the beach is very wide and uncrowded. Tons of chairs on the beach set up under little gazebos for sun protection.

    Some additional info I received:

The cost for the day pass would be $35.00 USD per adult and children 12 and under are complimentary with a paying adult. A credit card is required to confirm the Day Passes.

The day passes entitles you to:

. Use of the facilities including 3 pools and beach

. Use of beach cabanas and lounge chairs by the beach and at the pool

. 15% discount on treatments at the Emerald Mist Spa

. 10% discount on food and beverage at Bohemia Pool & Beach Bar, Calypso Café, Calypso Restaurant, and the Pizza Shack

. 10% discount in Pronto Gift Shop

    Towels are not included

Toll free number is 1-866-847-1139 for any reservations.
