  1. Hi Cheryl,

I think T/A's are my favorite cruises, lots of time to relax. I've never gotten bored. If you don't mind having a lot of sea days in a row usually 6, it's a great voyage. I have done them both East/West bound, and have done them alone and with my mom. Last spring I did the Solstice solo, by the end of the trip I had a group of friends that I still chat with on facebook. I have no problem going solo, I really enjoy the privacy.

So I am now officially booked on Infinity B2B: Oct 12 & Oct TA in an A1 on the 11th deck(the non smoking side) thank you for that tip whoever posted it. As of now there are no AFT's available, but I agree that would be my first choice and I'll be keeping an eye out for any opening up.

You seem to like the transatlantics. I'm thinking of doing one soon solo. Have you done them both ways? Do you get bored? I don't think I would but I am just wondering.....
  2. Thank all for your input the A1's on deck 11 have 20 sq ft larger balconies, and I like the idea of the newer staterooms with aqua bathroom. I'm currently booked on deck 11 for the fall T/A and am considering adding the cruise before, the immersive wine cruise as a B2B. I prefer the Solstice class but this is the earliest Fall T/A(Oct 24th) and I'm hoping a month earlier will be a little kinder temp. wise. I do not want to ever be as cold as I was in Venice the day before Thanksgiving EVER again.... I don't usually have a problem with seasickness...just don't want to freeze again.

The wine cruise on Oct 12 has an overnight in La Harve....so I could spend the night in Paris my favorite place on earth without having to do the 2.5 hour train ride twice in one day

    thanks again for the help
