  1. Hi Jim, As always, thanks for all your hard work in your live review. My DH and I will be joining you in Hawaii for the B2B to Alaska. Regarding the slots, is there some secret way to know when you have spent 50%? thanks, Janet
  2. We were in 3151 on the Apex Spring TA. Not sure if it was under the Club but we had no problem with noise whatsoever. It was a very convenient location. No noise from Martini Bar either. We had a few days of rough seas and we were glad to be mid-ship on a low deck.
  3. Has anyone been able to get the upgrade from classic to premium beverage package? It still shows as $20 on my cruise planner for Oct. 30 TA.
  4. So we are already booked on the Soltice next April leaving Honolulu and ending in Vancouver. And staying on for the Alaska B2B, Vancouver to Vancouver. Is this going to be OK?
  5. Hi Jim, So excited to follow your adventures but even more so as we will be joining you on the TA portion. As well, we will be joining you on your Hawaii cruise next spring. Hope to see you onboard. Janet
  6. My DH and I were also on this cruise. We were disappointed with the MDR. When I first booked, I tried unsuccessfully to get reservations for close to 7 PM. As soon as we boarded, we tried unsuccessfully again. The first night we ate in Oceanview. The second night we went to deck 5 and lined up for 10 minutes to be told we had to go to deck 4. Once again, lined up for 10 minutes. We were then escorted back up to deck 5 and told to wait. Then we were escorted to the middle of the dining room and left standing while they tried to find our table. Someone else was called to assist and they could not find it. It was 8:30. We went to Oceanview. We did not try the MDR again until we got to Charleston and then we asked for a pager and were seated before 7:30. On the second night, we ordered our dinner and were waiting for our appetizers when the asst. waiter brought someone else’s Entree. Then when we finished our correct entree, the asst. brought someone else’s appetizer. In summary, staff shortages and lack of training was very noticeable in the MDR.
  7. My DH uses the patches as he suffers from sea sickness and they have worked wonderfully. In Canada, they have been available OTC. We purchased some earlier this year. However, now they are no longer available. Our pharmacist says that they are not even available by prescription. I understand that in the US a prescription is required. I have bought 2 different brands from Amazon and hope they will work as we are on the Summit on June 2. So, questions...have any fellow Canadians been able to get the patches? Are they still available by prescription in the US? And finally, has anyone had success with the other brands from Amazon? Thank you.
