Will it save me money?
-
Sadly I have been on Arcadia 3 times, but rest assured I will never venture forth on Arcadia again.
I have only been on her once and that was enough for me. As you say never again.
-
I suspect that is more likely to be a cock-up by P&O's infamous IT dept. Clearly even an idiot would not pay more for a saver fare, although perhaps one or two of the P&O chearleading team on here might do.

I know people who have, hence the comment.
They obviously didn't go to Specsavers.;)

The yellow (or buff) could be mistaken for the yellow funnel of Costa.
No way. A totally different arrangement and a 'C' on the funnel.

5th thread on the same subject....
OK then start a sixth.

£16.99 for 2 steaks with side dishes and a bottle of wine - screams of quality!
Better than any steak that I've had on P&O (mdr).
-
Nowt wrong with Wetherspoons - 2 sirloin steaks & bottle of wine £16.99:)
IMO Stella is **** much prefer real ales.

Agree completely.
Also, it avoids the appearance of impropriety. Impropriety being broadly defined to include not necessarily the salacious but also the perception of special treatment of the favoured [and I think we all can cite examples of that] and the concomitant less-than-equal treatment of others.
Well said.

It is but at £2,049($3,300)pp for a balcony with $300 obc in my opinion is overpriced. I do appreciate that if you need to book your holiday in advance and wish to sail Princess you haven't got many options.
In June this year a last minute price for the same type of ship, cabin(balcony) and itinerary on Azura(P & O) was £699($1120).

Thanks for the information.

Which cruise?
-
It's not called Beach House on Azura -it's Verona. it's nicer decor I thought and the service was better than on the Beach house - we had to leave before the desert twice in order to get to the show! We did like the food though.
I would never miss a "desert" eg Sahara for a show.;)

norovirus symptoms = food poisoning symptoms:eek:
Never, Princess would not serve under cooked food - but yes they do blood in chicken. Go figure.

Ventura has a covered pool, Azura does not. 1 up for Ventura
Azura has an outdoor seascreen, Ventura does not. 1 up for Ventura
Preferred the buffet that transferred into a waiter service restaurant on Azura to the one on Ventura. If it's The Beach House then Ventura also has it, well it did when I was last on her.
For me I would choose the Azura one - but that's because I don't like flying :) Agree 1 up for Azura.[/color]
For me I would choose Ventura.

Been on both & prefer Ventura.

Thanks for the link
We will be on the Diamond in October for 16 days.
How was the Internet on the ship?
Cheers

When in Japanese waters it is my understanding that it is not possible to access the internet via a satellite connection.

Last week a balcony cabin was £699 so I wouldn't worry about the cost of transfers.

Looking forward to your blog. Nearly booked this cruise last week so very interested in your comments.

Princess used to run charters from the UK to the Caribbean you could still book cruise only but the packaged deals were competetive as they could fill a plane.
often would produce very good late deals if there were cancellations as they could offer the flight and cruise.
And I for one wished they still did that.
-
Excellent presentation.:)

If the select rate was selling well they wouldn't need a saver fare.

Better to fly non-stop direct to London.
