  1. I suspect that is more likely to be a cock-up by P&O's infamous IT dept. Clearly even an idiot would not pay more for a saver fare, although perhaps one or two of the P&O chearleading team on here might do.

  2. Agree completely.

Also, it avoids the appearance of impropriety. Impropriety being broadly defined to include not necessarily the salacious but also the perception of special treatment of the favoured [and I think we all can cite examples of that] and the concomitant less-than-equal treatment of others.

    Well said.

  3. It is but at £2,049($3,300)pp for a balcony with $300 obc in my opinion is overpriced. I do appreciate that if you need to book your holiday in advance and wish to sail Princess you haven't got many options.

In June this year a last minute price for the same type of ship, cabin(balcony) and itinerary on Azura(P & O) was £699($1120).

  4. It's not called Beach House on Azura -it's Verona. it's nicer decor I thought and the service was better than on the Beach house - we had to leave before the desert twice in order to get to the show! We did like the food though.

I would never miss a "desert" eg Sahara for a show.;)

  5. Ventura has a covered pool, Azura does not. 1 up for Ventura

Azura has an outdoor seascreen, Ventura does not. 1 up for Ventura

Preferred the buffet that transferred into a waiter service restaurant on Azura to the one on Ventura. If it's The Beach House then Ventura also has it, well it did when I was last on her.

For me I would choose the Azura one - but that's because I don't like flying :) Agree 1 up for Azura.[/color]

For me I would choose Ventura.

Princess used to run charters from the UK to the Caribbean you could still book cruise only but the packaged deals were competetive as they could fill a plane.

often would produce very good late deals if there were cancellations as they could offer the flight and cruise.

And I for one wished they still did that.
