We flew to FLL last Friday Terminal 1 Pearson and from drop off outside by our ride to sitting in lounge waiting for flight was 45 minutes mostly due to USBP all walking away from desks for a meeting and shutting us customs down for 20 minutes. Our flight got delayed 2 hours due to inbound weather issues so we were in the lounge for 6 hours. We had allowed for the worst.
Have an August trip from YYZ-YUL-FCO Air Transat and am also wondering about baggage transfer/delay for this connecting flight to Rome. Any one know of any issues with AT? AC is well documented.
I would look at the definition of up to date - for most European sailings they don't use that term. For North America sailings they do use the term and I understand it to mean - primary series and any additonal boosters you are eligible for. Depending on where you live may change the eligibility for 2nd or third boosters.
Depending on your vaccination status you can have an antigen test done up to three days prior to boarding.
With regard to testing shipside and then positive - i would point you too the health protocol FAQ on Princess site for those answers.
Did our tests with Life centers.ca using the free (Ontario) BTNX Rapid Response kits that we picked up at Walmart. So easy and efficient. $25 for 2 of us and was emailed the paperwork (negative) within 10 minutes. Will use this service again for next cruise in August.
We did a last minute cruise booking and used a local cruise TA to book instead of direct to Princess with our CVP - he actually didn't answer the email I sent enquiring about a new booking - and so far the local cruise TA seems OK. Likely use them again in future to see how it goes.
Our CVP stopped answering emails and phone weeks ago. Still works there but has stopped returning messages or calls. I have a dubious feeling about this.
I have looked through all greek gov sites and there is no mention of this that i can find. They actually show that all covid vaccination and testing requirements are no longer required for ferries and other transportation.
Just also wondering why this info isn't on Princess site anywhere. Only thing I can find is statement about pre embarkation in Athens. Had actually thought it might have been testing for Spain but couldn't find any info to support that theory. Appreciate any links to this info.
Looking for information. Scheduled to take a 14 day cruise Frome Rome - Barcelona in August. Booked as a 14 day not as 2 seven day cruises. Hearing that PCL is testing passengers on board the day before arriving in Athens. This info is not on any documentation or anywhere on the website. Greek government had suspended all entry requirements for testing effective June 1. Passengers embarking the ship in Athens have to provide negative test prior to boarding as we do when embarking in Rome.
Why is this test mid cruise being done?
Had booked same time and place for a private table for four successfully. Based on reading this topic I went back and checked. Most were days were ok but some days (4) had been changed to "parties on reservation moved to multiple tables". Went back in and had to rebook those days at another time slot (20 minutes later) to get our private table on those days.
Yes, just double checked all my correspondence from Lifecenters and there has been no link provided to date. Will wait and see if anything develops, else will need to contact as well.
I have received these three items on the day I booked. Just wondering about the actual link for the day of the testing. Is this something that gets sent night before or just before your scheduled appointment?
