Question, I have an interior quad room booked and they are all sold out for my cruise. If they have a sale can I ask my TA to re-price it if there are no more quads available?

I was on Anthem last year in room 6182 and had no issues with noise. Our room was very quiet. You will love Anthem,it's my favorite ship

Has anyone done the parasailing on Labadee? The picture in the cruise planner shows it as a double can only 1 person go?

There are lockers on Labadee. We used the ones by the zipline. I can't speak as to whether there are other locations. There was a fee (can't remember how much) that was charged to our shipboard account. Enjoy!

We also were on the Harmony last week( May 27-June 3) and we were disappointed as well. The fountain under the rising tide is not even there on the Harmony. When talking to another passenger they were asking what rising tide meant, I explained on the Oasis and the Allure there is actually a water fountain under the bar but not on Harmony. They said that made more sense and they should change the name of it to the "up and down bar " as that is all it did, lol. Personally my mom and I enjoyed the Allure of the Seas over the Harmony. There were some helpful crew members,. but the rude and mean ones out numbered the nice ones. I was a little surprised by how many crew members were rude and didn't want to help the guests. Again, this is my opinion and I am not giving up on RCCL , just giving up on the Harmony for now.

Hi all! I'm the OP, and I thought I'd let everyone know that my travel agent called RCCL, and was able to re-book our "my time dining" at 6:00 each day. Yes, we are "those" people that book the same time every day, by request of my mother in law. Traditional dining is not available for the early seating, which is why we booked MTD. Royal Caribbean just now emailed me back today, but just like when I called in, nobody can really tell me why we were cancelled? It's the weirdest thing?! Oh well...I'm sure I won't go hungry, even if they cancel us again!!! Thank you all for the advice!!

How would YOU adjust the show times? 7pm is for late dining and 9pm is for early dining. If you have MTD you have to adjust so you can see one of the shows.

 

I was able to make MTD reservations for our Empress cruise in November last night on the Planner.

For my Harmony cruise I am in the 8:30 pm for dinner, I have seen the show schedules and the 8:30pm dinner will interfere with booking the shows. I believe that someone posted earlier that the MTD elimination might just be for the Oasis class ships only.

Actually our OP's story has not changed though the article is confusing in some places. Her TA was a thief and she actually got her money back Last Friday! (And that was after weeks of being told "the check is in the mail")

Thank you so much for letting us know that she got her money back. I'm so happy for her!! I do hope she continues to cruise with Royal, I think this is an extreme case but because she was so persistant she was able to get her money back.

This is very upsetting if true. We currently have late seating and want to change to MTD due to the show times. If they are only going to have 2 dinner times then they need to make an adjustment to the show times.

For the cruisers who are boarding in the next few months. we received cancellation notices for MTD on our Sept 7 cruise. when we called our RCI agent who booked us on the last 3 cruises, she informed us they are going back to first and second seatings and booked us for first seating. Not positive of the last date of MTD, but she inferred it would be soon.. has anyone else received such an email? I checked on the main RCI site and someone else has indeed made comment they received same email.

What the heck!! I have Harmony booked for June 2018 and currently have the late dinner but was going to call my TA and change to MTD because others have posted the show times and it will really interfere with late dinner.

WOW!! What an incredible situation!! I believe that the TA was totally at fault. I really hope the OP gets resolution. I'm glad she enjoyed her cruise and I believe that she handled herself well, I would have lost my mind.

Getting a ration of crap from TA. Says because we paid early Royal won't do anything. Final payment is 3 weeks out. Every time I transfer a booking for a few perks I regret it. Note to self NO more TA's

That's exactly what my TA said to me also. I have 2 cabins booked and 1 is fully paid and she said I can't take advantage of a price drop if it's paid in full already even though we are months away from final payment :o
