We are doing a b2b in a concierge SV keeping the same cabin. Do we need to be out of the cabin at 7:30 since we are not switching cabins? I will, of course, talk to the room steward and see what they say but curious as to others experience.

It must. I haven’t heard anyone say the chairs are comfortable. I wish I felt the same.

We are looking at booking a YC deluxe suite. This is our first YC booking. We are pretty loyal to Celebrity but want to try something new. Is this ship in good shape or should we go for something newer? I’m trying to get an idea of the balcony. Does it have loungers or just chairs and a table? Is it good size? Anything else I should know before booking? Also, I think the deposit is non refundable. Is this correct? thanks so much for any help!

We are trying princess in November too. 8 of us that would have normally been on Celebrity. Hoping we love it!

I absolutely think you might very well be able to get one if you ask but I also believe you may not. So frustrating! And ridiculous. And for those that think this isn’t an issue I’m assuming they book inside or ocean view cabins! No one who spends the money on SV and suites wants a balcony that’s uncomfortable to use.

Honestly I would look at another cruise line. The furniture on the balcony of E class ships is very uncomfortable. We were so disappointed.

Yes! It was august/September for us and I agree. That was actually the only downside for us so maybe doing a January cruise is the answer. I agree, much cooler!!!

Is there shade in the pool area at the Yacht Club? It was the last me thing we really disliked on MSC, no shade at the pool.

We love celebrity and have been cruising exclusively with them since 2013. Back then the ports were great. Now it’s far and few between good Carribean ports especially on the S class ships, which we prefer to the E class. Hopefully we’ll get some new ports in 2026 but we are trying princess in November for something new.

I wish they would drop the horrible Bahama ports and add more interesting islands. We are definitely looking at other lines for something new.

We have stayed in a sunset veranda on Beyond. We chose that cabin for the same reasons you stated. It has a true balcony with sliding doors. The biggest cabin on celebrity we have had with the exception of suites. We love Blu too, unfortunately no AQ cabins with traditional balconies.

I don’t blame you at all. That’s how I felt too. We love having the loungers on the balcony so we don’t stress about getting them by the pool, etc. and we love hanging on our balcony. It just seems ridiculous!

It was a Sunset Veranda which has always had at least one. The balcony is huge. We were told no due to safety reasons.
